Meinl Sonic Energy 16" Bamboo Rainstick Musical Instrument for White Noise, Hand Painted — Sound Therapy Nature Effect

Excellent craftsmanship, beautiful sound and like the length. Not too long or too short. There is a couple of areas where the nail heads stick out from the bamboo, but it is minimal. Because it is for my toddler grandson, used a piece of black duct tape over the nail head so it wouldn't catch on my toddler's hands. An adult would have no issue with that. The tape concealed nicely with the art work. I read other reviews for different rainsticks and the protruding nail heads seems to be a common issue. This rainstick only had the two and were barely noticeable. I would buy this stick again. The bamboo was solid and sturdy, no splitting.

This is smaller than the one I bought at a powwow. Don't trust the 2 videos provided by Meinl. The differences are fairly great--this one must not have very many pebbles or stones or whatever they put inside these, or doesn't have enough spikes to help make the rain sound--takes about 2 seconds for all the things to fall to the other end and you have to tip it very extreme to get that sound. If I try gradually, there's hardly any "rain" sound at all. Very disappointing as the length of it is perfect for rhythm in a drum circle which is why I bought it. The 2 videos provided have way more sound on this length than the one I received!

sound in the video they have is NOT at all like the product. Turn it over and all the beads or whatever they are inside just drop to the other end. Would NOT buy. I've seen\tried better sounding products that were much cheaper than these junk.

I think the looks of this rain stick are super cool but the sound is not great . You have to go SUPER slow !

Good but I wish I'd opted for a larger one. Too hard to keep the beads moving seamlessly IMHO.I'd say this one is good for a beginner, or for kids, or just to have a small one for the portability aspect.

You have to move it slowly from side to side to hear the rain. It’s incredibly cool definitely worth the money.

Ich habe es bei uns in der Sauna mit einfließen lassen. Total schöner Einfall, wenn man die Augen schließt und dem Geräusch (Wasserfall) lauscht. Die Handhabung bedarf etwas Übung aber es funktioniert sehr gut. Absolut zu empfehlen. Mfg T.G.

You have to roll it to keep making the water sound, but its not bad 😁

Es una pena porque es bonito y les gusta a los bebes. Es pequeño.. pero encima por el salía de verano se ha roto y se han caído las semillas por todo el piso. Me gustaría tener otro pero después de está experiencia lo dudo.
