Great program but a learning curve is needed.
I would give it 5 stars but I will give the reason at the end of this review.1. It installed without a problem.2. I have 3 of the 5 licences installed without a problem. The clock starts running on the first activation for the 365 days.3. Runs fine on a 2 core, I5 and an I7. No noticeable lag in performance. All have 8-16 gigs of ram. It would not run well on my 1.2 gig 2 core laptop with 8 gig of ram. Had to take it off as it does not function well with a lot going on in the background. The 1.2 gig is just a bit to slow to handle it in my opinion. Not just Kaspersky's but things like updates etc.4. I did start off with the "30 day trial" for the test spin. Just purchased the key card and activated the product for the 3 computers.want a protection system to operate in the back ground with as little intervention as possible on my part. In other words its there and protects my computer behind the curtain so to speak.Positive:It caught the issue with CCleaner's update that contained injected malware. Not CCleaners fault per say as it was injected at some point in the distribution tract of their update system. Kaspersky's caught it immediately after the first scan on install even before it made the software news. My other two computers which were running two different anti-virus programs did not catch it. Malware Bytes did catch it on their scan on those 2 computers. That was a huge positive for me protection wise for this security package. The greatest threat out there now and in the future will be these types of malware and exploits which can include ransomware. It seems this malware that came with the update would search the computer for installed programs to start with. CCleaner patched their program with back to back updates to their credit within days.Negative:Pop up warning screens for encrypted connections and secure(certificates) web pages are much to numerous and a pain to deal with starting off with this program. I am sure there is a way to tone down these warning but that remains to be seen.It would be nice to see an option for adding the pop up item to the exclusion list immediately to avoid future references to it. Security is one thing but having to continually check a link "exclude for 30 minutes" is a real pain. Maybe even extending it for 12 or 24 hours would work.Video links on Yahoo and MSN generally are not an issue but that is where I get most of them. With that said so far I am impressed with the protection level even with the pop up warnings. I will have to spend more time on trying to adjust this program to my own comfort level and eliminate as much of this negative without hurting the security end of it. There is a learning curve with this program unlike the others but again maybe that is why it seems to be tops in its field. Also with all the bad press out there on Kaspersky's, it does not bother me one bit. I have not seen proof of one thing that Russia is using that company for its own purposes. Kaspersky's seems to be the best out there in uncovering the bad stuff and that's important. It would get 5 stars if only the interface was a bit more friendly as far as all those messages on connection/secure sites go.For me it has to operate behind the curtain as much as possible.

My most recommended antivirus and over all PC protection of the past 21 years of being online.
Having used several other anti virus over the past 20 years, starting out with McAffee, then Norton, which were the best recommended at the time, and other ones since such as Avast and AVG (these last are good) I finally tried Kaspersky about 12 years ago and love it.Mcaffee, to me, is too much of a spyware company. It may be better now, but then was bad. Norton, though very safe, is way too difficult to use, too intrusive, takes way too much power to run and other negatives. Avast and AVG did pretty well. But Kaspersky runs very quietly in the background, is not intrusive at all, only having popups when warning of a bad website with malware or phishing schemes, or whatever such as having been security compromised. When doing a search, Kaspersky places a shield at the end of each web site giving the safety of that site. One may do as they wish, but if it is a real bad one Kaspersky will not let you on it. It also has a safe banking program, a password security program and parental controls. In the past ten years using Kaspersky I have not had a single virus make it into my pc. Nor trojan. No problems at all. With all others I have used, including Norton, though that was long ago, I have had viruses which invaded and caused problems which I had to have removed.I recomend it to all who can afford it, and for myself, I cannot afford to not have it. But the low price here on Amazon makes it affordable to all.I have zero complaints about Kaspersky, unless the price, but that is less expensive by far than having to have viruses removed. not counting the damage they cause.FIve stars

Kaspersky 2017 improved substantially and,...
Been online for more than two decades and been the 'goto' tech person for my family and friends like it or not lol. consequently i have tried just about every version of avs software available. if you are more 'hands on' like to customize your software? no other avs product enables us end users as much flexibility as does this newest version of kaspersky.last year i did go back to give norton another try. if you are a technophobe or just don't want to do or think about anything, then that product would work okay for you. but do remember that product is a 'one size fits all.' that said everyone has unique needs and wants, even from different devices. for that and many other reasons i am firmly back in the kaspersky camp. i don't need or want a dumbed down product.fyi the reason i switched from kaspersky to norton last year is that i got very annoyed at kaspersky. three months before my license was to expire i started getting spam emails from them on an every other day basis. evidently i was not the only one ticked off by that. so in this software version they have made it fairly simple to disable all annoying spam. to do so follow these steps;1 - open kaspersky2 - look to the bottom right corner to see a gear (settings icon)3 - click on 'additional'4 - click on 'notifications'5 - the bottom four boxes, uncheck them all and you're good to go! no spam no more :-)Kaspersky now does so much more than just block viruses or perform scans. It is a solid extremely well coded bit of software.

Solve at least
It sends many messages, you have to run the system every so often and everything is a warning. When with others it doesn't happen and they protect.
