Q: Whats the difference between this and drinking water?

Water doesn't do it. You can drink water but your mouth will be dry almost immediately. The lozenges get the saliva going.

Q: How many calories in each lozenge?

I found out online that there are 5 calories per lozenge.

It does help the dry mouth. It lasts longer than water but of course if you drink water after putting the mint in your mouth its going to wash it away. I've been using now for about a year and do like them for what they advertise. I also use the tooth paste which I really like

Q: what is in it that makes it different than other mints ?

Could be Zinc Gluconate. Not an expert here but can testify that the mouthwash does work! Mints are good to keep on hand.
