Linseed Oil Polymerized, Natural Alternative to Boiled Linseed Oil Worktop Oil Clear Suitable for all Wood

I ordered this product to polish and protect my granite table in my garden and it has worked very well.

This oil brought out the grain on the special wood. Note the product is very thick but soaks into the wood after a few days. Linseed oil was recommended as safe for wildlife.

Would NOT buy it again

My bedroom furniture was begining to look tired and losing colour, i used the linseed oil on it and it worked like magic, its brought it to life like new.

The linseed oil is suitable for worktops and boards, but it is very thick and difficult to spread, so you would need a lot of it to treat a worktop. I used it for boards and needed far more of it than I expected because of the difficulty of spreading, but it does produce a good finish and brings a sheen back where washing and use had dulled things down. I normally use a much thinner board oil that needs to be applied every couple of weeks, so I am hoping this will produce a longer lasting finish that will need less frequent application. I will let you know how it goes.

I used this on a gun stock, it's good to know that it contains no toxic heavy metals unlike many "boiled linseed" products. It is pleasant to use and does the job.

This is much thicker than I expected, it is quite hard to apply on wood surface and need to use more than normal. The good thing about it is no smell. I don’t know if it will last longer than the normal one but I will probably go for my previous after finish off this bottle.

Didn't rub in very well.
