Nightingale CXO Office Chair - 6200D - Modern, Mesh Back, Ergonomic, Adjustable Lumbar Support

One sees much hype in online reviews these days. You always need to figure out what to believe. When I started my search for a replacement office chair, I didn't know what I wanted. High on my list was lumbar support, the chair to be adjustable in all directions, and breathable. After an extensive Internet search over many days, I finally settled on the Nightingale CXO Office Chair - 6200D.The chair exceeded all my expectations. It is comfortable at all points. It provides excellent support, especially to my back. The woven chair back ensures fresh air reaches my back all the time. I did replace the wheels with rubber chair casters. The chair now rolls smoothly across my glass chair mats and carpeting.I don't often write Internet reviews. I felt compelled to do so in this particular case. This superb chair is well worth the investment. I expect it will last me the rest of my life.

This thing is solid! No worries on quality here, just the weight of the chair tells you cheap plastic was not used. Additionally the most fuctiinal and comfortable office chair i have sat in.Soon after my purchase, customer service messages & then calls me to ensure the proper head rest is included according to my height. I believe they recommend their old version if you are over 6'. Although, after using the chair, I preferred leaving the head rest off. It seems as if it protrudes forward too much for me to be comfortable, but I believe this is more due to the fact I have a neck injury.Here's the kicker why i was so pleased with customer support. They inform me Amazon started charging taxes when they shouldn't be for a customer purchasing the product in the USA, because the product is made in, and shipped from Canada. They even offered to provide a work around if Amazon doesn't reimburse me! Thankfully I followed the instructions provided on the site here for requesting a tax refund, (Amazon makes it a little bit of a pain having to email a PDF doc to them) but the request was approved a few hours later. Voila!Great experience, and so far love the chair!

First thing, the company selling the chair is super helpful and nice. But, I’ve had the chair now for a couple months and the padding in the seat has already collapsed to the point that trying to work for just 2 hours is extremely uncomfortable on the butt. Not at all what I would have expected from a $2k chair…

Likes:- I work from home full-time; this is the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. Very robust chair; albeit Heavy duty --you get what you pay for. I've tried the best of them as well. Herman Miller, SteelCase, etc. this is the best.- So many different kinds of adjustments for lumbar, tension, headrest, armrest, tilt, etc- Third part seller of the product Pedram (FineGrafics) is awesome; he called me a few times and he emails you back very quickly on any issues whatsoever. He gets it. He understands the customer service thing that is needed on Amazon and big purchases such as this one.- Chair was delivered as one whole piece/chair. No labor or assembly was needed whatsoever. Chair was nicely packaged with care. Could tell when I opened it that this was a BRAND new chair.Dislikes:- Shipping; albeit it's not the seller's fault as he has zero control over customs, freight, etc. Took abt three weeks to receive from time of order.- Headrest design is a bit flimsy but still, an excellent put together chair i must say.

Got the HD version although I'm only 6' tall and weigh 185 pounds. Work long hours on computer and the memory form for the seat is fabulous. Also I need to lean back into my chair from time to time to relief the strain on my back and I couldn't ask for better. It is a very heavy chair though and feels like it could outlive me. I got a height adjustable desk as well and the combination means that there is no way I could not find a good comfortable position. However, the lumbar support, despite having memory form, feels uncomfortable for me after a while. Since it is adjustable I keep moving it all the time so that the pain is not concentrated on one area of my back. Could be also that I need to find the sweet spot for my back by experimenting a lot with the lumbar positioning. Still love the chair though and it's best out of the four chairs I have owned so far.
