I gained weight in my belly. The plastic buttons popped of and shattered. I am not throwing away good short. I bought these metal buttons and some fishing line, 17 lb. Very easy to thread the needle, very easy to tie knots. Sew the metal buttons on. They are not going to pop off. i sew myself, nothing wrong to ask a tailor shop to use fishing line. Your paying them to do the work. Granted they are not going to get repeat business. It's not that hard. Great day, and China Rocks!

I bought these because the plastic backing buttons I use for my husbands cargo shorts keep cracking. These are nice and sturdy.

I received the incorrect size. Had trouble depressing the selection button on website. I wanted the 17mm buttons and received the smallest size.

it says 10 but only 8 were in my bag. it was packaged well, though

Nice metal buttons. I'm not sure if it's a metal finished resin or actual metal, but it has the look I was after, so I don't care. They work really well.I wish there was a multi size pack though ... like four of each size or something like that. I am terrible at conceptualizing the listed sizes and just having an assortment of sizes (with the same look) to choose from while working on a project would be great. Price is also very reasonable!
