Solid third book in the series
This is a new take on an old story. I still prefer the more classic takes on this story, which is a shame as the book is actually quite good. For me the take on these knights just takes a little bit away from the brilliance of the story. After having said that, I must also say that if I look at just the story and how it is written, it is brilliant. I just need to see the characters not as Arthur and the knights, but a random king and his knights. I loved how everything was explained, how the story developed and needed to read the rest of the books straight after this one.

Excellent series, one that I couldn't put down.
I loved this series and the wonderful world it's set in I just wish there was more to read maybe a story about fionna and her mother (it's the only loose end I can think of) dont want to spoil anything so that's all I'll put.

A blend of legends
Throughout this series I’ve been struck by how much the authors must enjoy weaving lots of different legends together for the story. I think the historical notes at the end of this book really demonstrate that.Overall a satisfactory conclusion to the series, if a little bit predictable in some places (but not all). However, I do feel there’s some unfinished business with some of the characters. I wonder it there is any intention to follow up the trapped mother and the sister’s storylines?

Foos yer doos!
What an epic conclusion to a series! Twists after twists are thrown at our heroes, and we see them at some very low points. But their resolve is inspiring and magical (pun absolutely intended). Claire Luana and Jesikah Sundin have managed to weave together a fantastic tale that merges legends of the Knights of old with various Celtic mythologies. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who enjoys twisted myths and epic adventures with romance that makes your heart burn.

What a series!!!
This series has been an utter joy to read. The author's have truly out done themselves. These books have been thoroughly researched and reimagined. The use of language, myth, romance and adventure throughout all 3 books leads to a tale that sings to your very soul. These ladies have done an amazing job with the little extra touches at the end of the book explaining the origins of the characters and myths they have used. I have not enjoyed a series so much for a long time you must read

Crescendoing to a Magnificent Ending. Devastation & Ingenious writing makes this a 5* hit series
Crescendoing to a magnificent ending. Claire Luna & Jesikah Sundin have produced the best thinking out of the box re-telling of this legendary tale, I have ever read. They created a group of characters giving them each personalities that are unique and individual, each and every one I fell in love with long ago. The writing in this series has felt effortless, weaving such fine details you could feel each sword drawn to the caress of one’s skin. We again join the Fiesty Fionnabhair Allen, King Arthur & his three knights all believing The myth of The First Gwenevere could be their devastatingly beautiful white enchantress Fionna....With no magic in her little finger Fionna fears now there is no stopping the evil vengeful sorceress Morganna. Fionna learns of truths untold, shaking her very foundations. I needed my tissues as my heart broke over certain situations, at others I loved the Whit & playful side these characters stolen moments enjoyed. This finale brings together all of the threads left untied. With devastation. Mystery and Suspense keeping my heart hammering late into the night. This is a series that will consume you. I don’t leave spoilers, giving you the opportunity to enjoy it first hand...Running along the seriousness of Arthur’s predicament, the fighting, death & unjust you will have glimpses of fun, lust & love. This gives at times a diversion to the suspense & fear running through all their veins. The utter raw desolation & fearful conclusion to this series, along with the magical ingenious thinking made this whole series a firm favourite & an utter credit to these authors. 5 stars are the best you can give, however Claire Luna & Jesikah Sundin deserve a lot more. Thank you 😊
