PowerStar12V 18AH PS12-18 Replacement for UPG UBCD5745 Factory Activated AGM/SLA Battery

I got this to replace the battery in my automatic tennis ball machine used for practice sessions. It's a little larger than the original size (and bracket), but I just removed the bracket and put a metal strap over the battery to hold it in place.So far it's worked great. Holds charge longer than my old cell, and I've done practice sessions for an hour with no drop off in speed.

This battery worked perfectly to replace a bad battery on a 10kW generator.

I surely know that this battery is advertised as a replacement for another for another use- but I had a better use for it! I'm using it as a rechargeable power source for a small model railroad layout I take to shows and to and schools and similar places to show kids. It charged right up and held a charge longer than I could use for several display sessions.

i like to take one or two batteries for my solar panels when camping. this was a great addition to our trip, my 60w solar panel was able to fill this up in no time (solar panel). so far only issue is that it doesnt seem to be able to last as long charging our devices and ends up having to put back on the charger at least twice during a 2 day trip.

Have no complaints with the battery. I have been using it as a test battery for bench testing auto products before installing. I dont like to find out a product doesn't work after I install it in the car, so the bench test is key. It's a nice size and will likely put it in my jetski or lawn tractor when one of those needs another battery.

Great, Well Made Solid 12v POWERSTAR AGM battery. Terminals are solid and clearly marked and sealed. I’ve used this for weeks, cycling over and over with a solar charger. Use for fun and convenience at home for powering lights, speakers and fan in an outdoor patio. It’s also my weekend 4x4 fishing trips to the beach. Powers music there too, plus fans for cooling breeze. It has performed flawlessly. It can pretty much handle all my fishing/camping needs without connection to my solar cell…but I like knowing I’m keeping it ready for long night time use, just in case. I’ve been very happy with all the POWERSTAR batteries i’ve used from small one for security backup to this larger one for “fun and convenient” use camping/fishing or just sitting in backyard without home’s power outlets. OH and of course the battery is connect to my own USB converter and solar controller/panel. Review is just for the POWERSTAR battery

My battery was clearly damaged in shipment, but it didn't have to be that way, if they had packed it better. Mine was packaged in bubble wrap, which obviously didn't protect it in my case. I received my battery, with a big hole in the top, and little pieces of plastic in the box. I couldn't let this nice battery go to waste, due to some BS damage, that I can repair. So I whipped out my J-B Weld, and patched it up, until it was almost good as new. I intend to use this battery for my ham radio setup. This is not an ideal battery for a portable radio setup, however it will serve as part of my emergency power backup for my radios. This is also why my repair to the battery won't negatively affect me.I have run this battery through several cycles, and it will run my radio in receive mode for several days, so I'm rather pleased with that. Even though my battery arrived damaged, I'm giving this battery a 5 star rating because it works well, and I'm not deducting points because of my (hopefully) unique experience with it being damaged in shipment.
