Made me cry
I bought this without reading reviews. Im happy I got it at a local store for way less. I thought because it was the larger model or would chop larger pieces. I put half an onion in and it got stuck. Nothing like trying to scrape an onion off with your fingers. Once I peeled it a bit more, it chopped great. I had the electric ninja and that thing emulsified my food. I couldn't ever get it to just chop. This isn't the fanciest but it does the job once you get three hang of it.

Great to chop up veggies fast!
This makes chopping up veggies a breeze! Not something I will use daily because it's more difficult to clean than a knife but when I am chopping up a little of veggies for soup etc it is very handy!

Decent, but wouldn't reccomend
It does what it's supposed to, but it has quirks. The green base doesn't always lock into place like it should and can get juices all over the place, but my main issue was cleaning it. No matter what you do it ends up with water trapped inside unless you vigorously shake it or get really creative with locking it into the "chopping" position so it ventilates.

farmer's market peppers and onions) mix in 3 eggs and add Best of Szeged paprika and half a spoon of Croatian ...
If you are a healthy self-defense capable adult this product is a breeze to operate. "Over-the-sink pie" has never been easier with this, chop everthing (Wasylewski kielbasa, Danish gouda, farmer's market peppers and onions) mix in 3 eggs and add Best of Szeged paprika and half a spoon of Croatian Vegeta, one Pepperigde Farm puff pastry sheet at the bottom, pour out, the second sheet on top, bake at 450F for 30 minutes, YUM! This is how this kitchenophobic male pays his dues to the family of 5 on Saturday mornings. Tip: chop the kielbasa first so the blades grease up before the gouda.Washing is easy, you may want to jam small kitchen tongs between the blade holder and body with piston fully depressed, this makes cleaning even easier. The green lid goes straight to the trash can. This beats the "As seen on TV" chopping boards big time. One month later: IT BROKE! The mechanism rusted after washing and jammed, I suspect return spring ruste too, no way you can open it. Keep in mind I have a full workshop and will repair anyhthing. To the trash can with it!I got Oxo's product to replace it, and that one while slightly smaller is fully dissassemblable, with non-corrosion high quality parts. Oxo and SimplyHuman seem to always get it right.

not quite
Ive used similar products- i bought this one to replace one. but this one fails to chop a majority of the time. I would say it comes closer to mashing or obliterating rather than chopping anything besides onions

Muy mala calidad.
Lo pude usar dos veces. Se traba mucho y es muy difícil de limpiar.
