This shape in a pot is hard to find. It appears to be well made. I will be setting it inside a large concrete garden urn.

I love the color. The size was prefect. My plants look good.

Needed something to use as a cache pot for an 8" pot of Philodendron. As cache pots, these planters prevent over-watering and damage from water drops/spills. I leave the plants or repot in nursery pots. If you don't like the look, you can add Sphagnum Moss as top dressing. This pot is lightweight yet sturdy and stable. This is not my first purchase of an HC self-watering planter. Caveat: I don't know how well the self-watering function works.

I do like the design, and thought the price was pretty good considering the prices we're paying for everything right now.That said, I do have a few issues with this pot:1. As another reviewer said, I wish this planter had an overflow base to catch the excess water.2. The water reservoir is small, so once it fills up, the water has no place to go but around the plant roots.3. I would NOT recommend using outside if it's going to be exposed to rain, it will fill up with water quickly with no way to drain and flood the plants.4. Ordered the 12" pot. Top of pot is 12", bottom is 7", something to keep in mind depending on what size plant you are putting in it.
