I was so sick of all of my cute badge holders breaking so I bought these and love it. Does the job.

I purchased this because all of my previous badge reels broke. I had this for about six months and the "metal" wire just broke off and I almost lost my badge. Not as heavy duty as it claims to be.

It lasted about the same as a normal plastic badge reel. The outside looks like metal, and it has a little more weight than a plastic reel, but the inside is plastic. The outside metal part was thin and covered the plastic parts. The metal line broke, and when I took it apart to fix it, the inside was all plastic, the center mount for the spring was plastic and broken, so it was not fixable.

I can say that the metal is literally heavy for my uniform. Its dragging my top down but really looks durable. Its kinda big also, a bit surprise by its size. Hopefully the string will last.

**6/16/2023 Update: Absolutely garbage do not waste your money. Returned the previous broken one. Replacement lasted 5 weeks. DO NOT PURCHASE.** Lasted a month. I do use it often as I work at a secure site that really to badging and out of all doors. 250 times a day give or take. 250 per day x5 days per week=1250 x 4.3 weeks = 5375 total. About 5% of advertised life span. I wouldn't purchase again.

Great key holder for my job where I use multiple keys

I was surprised that a product with so many positive reviews broke within 2 months. I'm an office worker, so it's not like I'm in extreme conditions or putting a lot of wear on it. The cable snapped at the fob (you can see it still tied in the picture).
