Not sure
The story line was perfect until it went into the reincarnation stuff. It made the whole book unbelievable. Fiction should be believable but this wasn’t. I like TL Swan a lot but not this book.

Mind blown! 🤯
Okay so I bought this book back in 2020 and for some unbeknown reason I’ve only just got around to reading it, (I buy books in bulk and sometimes they have to patiently wait their turn). Althoigh this is rare for a T.L Swan book as usually I can’t wait to delve deep into her all consuming stories and their beautiful and funny characters but for some reason this one escaped me. Well egg on my face, this is quite possibly the most heart wrenching yet romantic story I’ve ever read. Never have I cried so much reading a book. Took a whole new meaning to rhe term soulmates and eternal love. I haven’t bawled like that since I watched The Notebook. With an ending bittersweet yet full of hope for their love and story, I cannot wait to see where she takes this, roll on book number 2 for the love of all things holy! What a captivating tale, I’m in love with their love ❤️

Different romance
OK I liked the story, characters and dialogue but the ending was really disappointing. Why would you do that, makes no sense. She's changed nothing. I get the story but her logic is flawed, surely the point was to not cause him heartache. Lives repeated themselves regardless of who left who by any method be it death or physicality.Love the author but I did not like the ending.

Two lost souls
What hauntingly different storyline, but with the same totally adorable male alpha. Alaster a photographer and artist falls and Perseus Emerson, but things are not as clear as they seem. The characters are so remarkable interesting, and Brielle is as witty as ever. Having read the Masters book a while ago I didn’t realise she had a semi staring roll in another earlier book, but humour is present here to. Emmaline is a character I love also. There is an intrigue that flows through the book, that keeps the reader guessing, and the close romantic episodes are totally crackling and like a furnace. A great alternative book written now a few years ago . Hopefully we will get the sequel, but only when the author is ready to reignite these two wonderful people. A great escapism and totally different to the other type of book this author scribes, but equally enjoyable.

but I am so glad to see that no matter when I pick up ...
I've been familiar with TL's work for a couple of years now and I can only imagine how scared she must have been to write something that not only *wasn't* Stanton, but something that was a world away from the genre that she had already established herself in successfully. As a reader, there is a certain expectation when you pick up some author's work, but I am so glad to see that no matter when I pick up a future book of TL's, I'll always be unsure of what I'm going to get. This book secures that for me. THAT'S what I like in an author. THAT'S what keeps me reading. Diversity. Unique plots. Gripping characters. Diverstiy. Wait. Did I say that already? Oh, well.I could go on and on about this particular storyline, but trust me when I tell you that the less you know, the more you'll love it. I went in completely blind, not knowing anything. Not even really taking in the blurb. By the end I was crying for both the beautiful story I'd been able to be a part of, and also for the loss of the characters when I turned the last page.If you're looking for something different and something that will surprise you and keep you guessing, Find Me Alastar is most definitely for you.So long as you know that Alastar is mine. I licked him first. ;)

Very very confused
I loved the story line and the characters. It was misterious and interesting. BUT the end.. I just cannot get over the end. Really? I mean surely, if the history repeats itself anyway, they could have had at least a couple of years of happiness? I felt like Alastar got over his fear and made peace with it just to get his heart broken by her, because she could not have put him through that again. I mean.. They both are unhappy so why do that? Ughhh. It is definitely a book I would suggest reading, I just did not like the ending.. At least I would like to know what happened to them after? Also prologue just confused me.. I still don't understand it..I wanted to give 3 stars because I did not like the ending, but this book has a peace of my heart now and I cannot stop thinking about it. I don't think it deserves 3 stars only because it did not have the usual happy ending that I am so used to by now.It deserves 5 if only because it is different.

So unexpected
I love this author! This was so different and even though it tied into my other favourite stories (Mr Masters) I was still transported into a magical romance that surpassed the boundaries of time. I loved Twinkle and Emmerline So sad but happy for a sequel coming soon. I plan to find Alastair……..

I love this writer
Looking forward for the next book from this author, l have read all the published ones. This is my absolute favorite book from her, the last I read from all her books. It’s a wonderful and sad story and I wish she writes a second part to it, this romance can’t end this way.
