I do a lot of sewing -- almost every day. I make small quilts and lots of clothing for myself. This means I do a lot of ironing because seams need pressing and/or shaping. My iron and my ironing board are always up and in use for small and large jobs. I particularly like this ironing board cover because it eases the process of ironing. It is super smooth and lightly padded and slipped over my existing ironing board cover with ease. I like the jaunty stripes as they brighten this task and I can line up seams with a stripe or two to better align my sewing. All in all, this is a great choice that has improved my sewing. Love it.

Really nice quality but a little short. My board was 54-1/2"x15". The cover is plenty long and wide to install and it and has a nice drawstring and 2 velcro straps...BUT...The problem is that the PADDED part of the cover is only 53-1/4" long by 16" wide. I want my padding to roll over the edges and pointed nose end. It installed fine on the point and sides but on the tail end, the padding is about 1-1/2" to 2" short.I don't fault the pad mfg. As my board may be an odd size, but would be nice if they allowed for more rollover around the edges.I still give it 5 stars as the quality is the best I've ever found. I especially like the fabric padding, compared to cheap ones that use foam.

Bought this as a replacement cover for a standard metal collapsing ironing board and I'm only keeping it because I don't do all that much ironing and I can't be bothered to send it back.CONS1. The "front" (nearest narrow end) velcro straps are too near the end so you can't fold the ironing board to put it away unless you unfasten the velcro, which means the cover isn't pulled snug on that end unless you fasten and unfasten the velcro every time you take out the ironing board. Super annoying.2. The drawstring is at the narrow end which means it dangles in the way of the closing mechanism. Okay a minor annoyance but it would be better if the drawstring were at the "fat" end.3. The padding is nowhere near 7 mm thick. I had to take it off and retrieve the worn out padding from the previous cover to use as a base layer so that the metal grill marks wouldn't show through as I ironed.PROFor me the only upside is that the black isn't actually a deep black as it appears in the photo, but more of a sparkly dark anthracite. This works better with the decor in my laundry room, but if you're hoping for a deep pure black you will also be disappointed in the color.

For once....an ironing board pad and cover that is actually large enough. I purchased two others in a local store and though the dimensions said they should fit my board I could barely pull them over the edges of the board to secure. This cover and pad, however, is quite ample and was a breeze to put on the board and secure tightly in place. I love the ironing surface. You won't be disappointed.

I received this cover on Saturday, and the first time I used it I ironed some fleece fabric. When I was done ironing I had to peel the fabric off of the cover. After I peeled the fabric off there is still 'fleece' stuck to the cover that will not come off. Pictures provided.

I really like this ironing board cover. It fits my ironing board perfectly. The padding is thick, just as described. I like the fact that the coating makes it possible to wipe it down instead of having to launder the whole thing. Thank you so much for this ironing board cover!

Ibought this for myself and then bought it as a gift for relatives and EVERYBODY loves it. The speed and efficiency while ironing is amazing. Worth every single penny. And it makes your ironinng board look new modern design.

Love, love, love this cover!!! Shopped, bought and returned SEVERAL before finging this on Amazon. Fit my 30 year old ironing board like a glove. Will be purchasing more as back ups!
