Reliable, Fast, Consistent, Great Value
Love it. Very happy with purchase.Bought this for 1) dual surfaces 2) glass top, and 3) price.I've used it perhaps 20 times, about half of those with both surfaces.Top has a few small scratches; I'm very careful but they just seem to happen.I like the ability to set temperature and time. Often I boil soup or a sauce, and can set timer to stop which is convenient. The temperature settings include 260 which will maintain a roiling boil and 210 which works by cycling heat--boil, then stop, then boil, then stop. This is as close as it gets to simmer. The unit has enough power to maintain 300 on both surfaces simultaneously which is what I use to sauté veggies on "med-high."Simple to clean up boil-overs and such with the glass top and no edge bezel. The unit stays on and displays flash red bars even if the surfaces are set to off, so I keep it unplugged as soon as the cooling fan goes off.

Great induction stove.
Though the first one that arrived did not work....the replacement quickly won praise from all family members. I also had another, smaller brand that arrived inoperable the same week, so don't know what was up with all that.Duxtop pots and pans work like a dream on this stove. I had had single NuWave induction plates sitting atop my ceramic top stove for a couple of years, as I got so completely spoiled by them that I rarely used the original stove top, which by comparison cooked intolerably slow. We would have gotten the three or four burner version of this if we could have afforded it, but this fit nicely in our budget. It looks quite smart sitting on top of our stove, too, being nearly as wide as the abandoned ceramic top.The two burner size remains quite portable. This was the only one I saw with a solid glass top. No plastic strip to risk melting on this one, so the better design. The instruction book is not too helpful, but operation is fairly intuitive. You will likely figure it out in short order, but buyers would certainly benefit from a better instruction book.

Great Value. Works great. A few minor complaints
Bought this to be used in a kitchenette and have been using it daily for about a month. I was hesitant to get it because I didn't want to buy new induction-compatible pans but I'm glad i did (found some cheap ones). After being dissatisfied with the selection of available 2 burner electric cook tops, (because one burner is a "warmer") I decided to give this a try.PROS: On high, brings water to a rolling boil (even in Denver, CO at an altitude of 5300') in 4 minutes. The $10,000 Viking gas range upstairs does NOT do that. That is the power of induction.Looks really nice. Not too big but you can still fit 2 large pots/pans on it. Not too tall either.Cleans up super easy.Cons: You can NOT run both burners on high - Seems to be a power restriction setting within the unit or limited by the standard 110v power. The highest setting you can go to on 1 burner is 460*F (which is plenty hot!) but you can only run a max total of 600*F for both burners combines. So if one burner is on 460*, the other one can only be on 140*F. For reference, "Medium Heat (cook a scrabbled egg)" seems to be about 260. You CAN cook 2 things on medium (300 on one side and 300 on the other) with no problem, but if you want one side on super high to boil water quickly and the other one on medium to cook something else, you have to reduce one burners temp (which is actually done automatically but adjusting the temp on the cooler one up). That's the only reason this baby didn't get 5 stars.2 minor Con: it's a little annoying to turn on and set temp: You have to turn it on, click 3 times to get it in degrees Fahrenheit mode, click the up arrow 8 times to get it to max power. one other con, the internal fan is a little louder than I would prefer, but definitely not a deal breaker.Overall, GREAT product for the money. Looks really nice and cooks evenly and fast. Would definitely buy it again.

Beautiful cooktop!!
Oh this is very nice. I will say I love induction cooking. I started with a nu wave pic. I don't want to be too negative about it, but this is much nicer. The problem with my first burner was the buttons. They cracked and peeled off. This caused burner to fail after time. Also this unit has 2 burners which is very convenient. It has awesome appearance. Also buttons are on solid glass, so they will not peel off. This unit is more like the expensive units that cost like $250 or $300. It has room for improvement, as someone mentioned having to push power button several times. I see this as only drawback. The fan is not very loud, but sounds like it is doing what it is designed to do. I look forward to cooking on this for years to come. I would say anyone new to induction cooking is buying good pans with thick bottoms for even cooking.
