It takes out the echo and sounds clear, crisp, and good enough for small production videos. Im definitely happy with my purchase. The reason I gave it 4 stars in sound quality is because it's not the highest quality- but noticeably better than w/o a microphone!There also wasn't instructions on how to use the wind disfuser- but I was able to google that.

I bought this mic for recording our church worship service. We use my Ipad, and I needed a mic compatible with it with a long cord. We used it today, and even placing it between me and my music director as we sang together picked up our voices really well. For sound quality difference, you can check out the May 10, 2020 worship service for Westover UMC in Raleigh on Facebook or Youtube. We didn't use the mic for the first song we sang, and the sound quality was poor using just the Ipad mic. When we used this one, and you will see that we placed in on a hymnal between us on the piano, there was no reverb and the voice quality came out really well. I definitely recommend this mic.

I have used this six times on iPhone X and am very satisfied. Nice long and light-weight cord, deadcat and tie clip. Plugged directly into my iPhone and worked great at the beach. I finally made videos outdoors in the breeze and wind without having annoying wind noise!Example: On a bluff making a ten minute video of crashing surf with ocean breezes. Total success! I set up the camera on a tripod and snaked out the long, thin cord and dropped it over the edge of the bluff, letting the mic rest inside a crevice. The wind was about 10-15 knots and would have blown away my ears on a normal recording. But the mic did a great job capturing the crashing surf without all the wind noise.Second example; on a viewing platform I made a long video of seals barking and dangled the cord over the rail and down closer to the seals. This put the mic farther away from people talking and out of the direct wind. The audio capture was superior to any hand-held iPhone movie I've made in the same location in the past.This is not a motion-picture studio quality mic, but definitely greatly improves iPhone outdoor audio recording for your money.

This little microphone makes a huge difference in sound quality when filming YouTube videos or vlogs. It’s night and day compared to just using your phone, and the longer cord is very long, which gives you a lot of freedom and options when running this from your phone. If you’re trying to make videos that sound professional without spending a ton on studio equipment, this is worth every penny.

STAY AWAY - I picked this microphone. I plugged it in and it never worked, now my lightning port on my phone isn’t working properly. Product is trash.

I had previously purchased the mic with the shorter chord which was ok and contacted support and asked about a longer chord. This 19’ chord is amazing for live streaming at church. Thanks support for the recommendation! Amazing!

Great product! Fairly long cord to fit most of my needs and I love how even when people are speaking loudly into the mic it doesn’t peak much and still retains a lot of clarity. Definitely just a speaking/podcast mic I wouldn’t use it for singing but for a mic of this price I’m kind of amazed at how it has pretty nice lows and a nice balance of sound definitely recommend!

When I plugged it into my phone it identified itself as beads or something similar. It acted like a headset and turned off my Bluetooth. I was trying to use it as a microphone on my phone while using my Bluetooth hearing aid to hear. Didn’t work.

Sound quality was good for self tapes on iPhone 12 Pro Max , but stopped working soon after buying it. No reason why it stopped, just went kaput. So I had to buy a Røde mic instead. Not impressed owing to short life span.

I love this! I use it when I make my YouTube videos. It works amazingly well. I have a really quiet voice and so when making YouTube content, this microphone helps so so much. Sound quality is awesome.

Microphone no longer works or is recognized by 2 separate iPhones. Not durable or reliable. Would like to return, but do not expect much response or service from China distributor. Do not recommend.
