Q: Do you buy two of these? Or does the one cover the situation?

Arthur, it's designed to be used as a standalone unit. I think the thought process is that if you are in a situation where you need two speakers, you probably wouldn't want this system anyways. Buy this system for portability.

Q: How long do the batteries last under normal use. 1 hour, 2 hours?

I used this unit at gigs where I had to play 3 hour sets and found it would easily last 2 shows and many times 3.

Q: What’s the maximum db peak? And the max db level when you’re 10ft away?

Honestly, I thought the voice would carry a little more. I used it in an open filed, and it was a struggle for folks 10 feet away to hear. This is with the person nearly yelling in the microphone. I will probably have to get another one to double the amplification. One didn't cut it.

Q: Does the BA330 have any kind of weather sealing? Does anyone have any experience with this unit in the rain?

Rain and electronics do not mix. This unit is not sealed at every spot. Not even close. The knobs and connections will be exposed to the elements.
