I ordered these scissors to replace some bought a few years back, and I am delighted with them. They are sharp, a nice weight, and do the job. They come in a very nice padded case to keep them safe, and to keep them away from husbands and kids that are in the habit of wandering off with scissors. I have always cut everyone's hair; initially because we couldn't afford the barber and hairdresser, and later, from habit! Also because my husband tended to work long hours and everyone was closed by the time he got home. He has very thick wiry hair that needs to be trimmed or it turns into an unsightly bush. His hair was very bushy when I got around to cutting it this time. The scissors were easy to handle and sharp enough to easily take care of his unruly locks. He mentioned that the scissors were very sharp, and he liked that they didn't catch or drag on his hair. This was the easiest and best haircut he ever had. It was a nice length and looked really great. I wish I had taken before and after pictures, because it really was a dramatic change. After the trim, I used an electric shaver to even out his hairline at the bottom. This is a great scissors at a really nice, affordable price. Next up on my purchase list: this company makes a pair of toenail clippers specifically for older people with thick nails and/or fungus. They were also well reviewed, and are a good price. I am very impressed with this company. Their customer service outreach is excellent too. They want to know if you have problems with a purchase, and they want to fix it. I have had no problems with my scissors, but if I did, I am confident that they would quickly resolve any issues.

I'm very happy with these scissors! I love the simple sleek design but I wanted them most because of the price. These work just the way I need them to regardless of the price.At first I thought it was silly to have a carrying case, because I would only have them in my bathroom but I have learned to appreciate it very much. All the hair cutting scissors I've ever had were ruined by my family because they used them as regular scissors, it did a lot of damage and became unusable very quickly. I need to have scissors dedicated to my hair. Every once in a while I suddenly have the urge to cut off my hair and it's painful realizing I can't.It's weird but now that they are in their own case no one touches them. It's like it just makes it obvious that they are for special use so hands off. I'm so glad I have these nice scissors just for my hair, instead of ones that have been used to cut open otter pops and other sticky things. The case style actually feels luxurious. I've never heard of Kovira before but it sounds high quality lol.I love love love the design. But I was surprised at how small the finger holes were. I have small hands and tapered fingers and these are just a little bit uncomfortable. I had my husband hold these and he said they were uncomfortable. Other than that, the scissors are sharp and you can adjust the tightness when needed. I think these will last me a very long time as long as I don't lose it's carrying case!!Hope my review was helpful to you! Oh and I've also included photos. I am not a professional stylist but I have cut hair for over 20 years, mostly family. My last pair of scissors served me well for 7 bucks but they became dull and I was taking twice an many strokes to accomplish the task. I have a nine year old wiggler and you may only get 5 good minutes to work and I cut my own hair. This time I wanted quality and I have been very pleased. The scissors have a very high quality feel. They are comfortable in my hand, and they remove everything I want with every stroke. On a less important note, I love the way they look, very modern with dark brushed finish. The case will make sure the kids can't say, "I didn't know they were your special scissors". Only time will tell for durability but so far great quality, great feel, grate performance, and great look and they cost less than one kids haircut. Just what I wanted.

I have cut my own hair for most of my adult life, which is a long time. These scissors are nice & light, with sharp, maneuverable blades. My only quibble is that the finger holes are smaller than my last pair, so I'm having to adjust to that. I'm sure I can handle it!

I'm not a professional hair dresser, I just cut my kiddos hair at home. But I need a decent pair of scissors at a decent price and these are amazing. They come in an awesome bag to protect them and keep them secure. They are super sharp and seem to be a high quality that will last. Gave my son a cut with them and they work great! Also, trimmed my daughters bangs and they cut so nicely. Now that I have such heavy duty, sharp scissors I had better watch that I don't cut myself!

Excellent scissors, good quality, sharp, easy to handle and use, nice zipper case for storage, work very well for trimming hair. Definitely recommend.

Although my hairdresser rolls her eyes at me, I find that with my cut, I can forego some visits by trimming my own hair. I have long bangs and layered shoulder length hair. These scissors do the trick and are perfect for the job. I also like that they have a case for storage, which keeps them from being used for anything else but hair and also easy to find in my junked up make-up drawer. I highly recommend these and would buy again if I ever needed to.
