Saves Money
Our first Navien Tankless Water Heater broke early due to our ignorance of proper maintenance - an expensive learning experience. So, when our upgraded replacement was installed we made an appointment for annual maintenence the next year. After paying nearly $400 for the service (OUCH!), we decided to learn how to Do It Ourselves.This Kit, a gallon of Tankless Water Heater Cleaning Fluid, and about an hour of effort allowed our family to maintain our heater for far less than calling a plumber. In the following years, we will need to only invest in the fluid, because these kit materials are durable, multiplying our savings. The directions are easy to follow and the results were no different from when a pro did it for us.

Incredibly easy to use for Handy Husband work
The package makes it very easy to get started on maintenance to prolong your tankless water heater. I have a Rinnai natural gas heater (although should/would work for other brands as well). Hooked it up, use the included descaling solution (in future can use same kit with white vinegar), followed the directions from the company and had cleaned out my pipes. Liquid started off crystal clear and ended up blue green at the end with some precipitate in the bucket. Just fresh water rinse after, let air/sun dry and close bucket up again until it needs to be used in the future. Some discoloration of the tubing connector to be expected. Plan in using again later this year.
