This is a good quality, sturdy and easy to put together scratch post. My cat is on the larger side and it’s solid enough for him. Overall good value.

EH! it's OK but my hairless cat hasn't noticed it yet,
He likes the furniture better even tho we keep water spray bottles handy Hmm?

On the 2nd photo there was a dead bug(insect) almost embedded in the sisal..Not hard to put together but I wouldn't by it again bcuz the pole is too thin for my cats taste. To me it looked to be a thicker scratching .pole. My cats have been ignoring it 😒.Hope this changes soon.Took seeming forever to get here.Maybe if my cats were kittens they'd like it more...esp with the 4 fluffyballs they can play.Ordered a slightly different kind...have yet to put the new one together.

Leo, our 8month old mischief maker started using the post as soon as I assembled it (which was super easy/tool-less BTW). When he gets the zoomies and launches himself ninja style at the post from 5ft away it rocks a bit.. so I wedged one side under the treadmill and now it's bullet proof! If he does manage to somehow shred the original rope on the post.. I'll just rewind it with fresh Sisal rope. No reason to spend big $$$ on a scratching post... this is the one to get!
