The sealed the package so you cannot use the zip closer to reseal.The product itself is great and helps my DE filter work better.

Filters the pool very well, better than D.E.Only concern is it builds pressure faster than D.E. and has to be regenerated/ cleaned more often. This doesn't take too long, but can get expensive since you have to add product each time you clean the filter.

Bought this earlier and finally got around to replacing the D.E. in our 48 sq foot filter. We used the included scoop to put 12 scoops directly into the skimmer i.e. no need to dilute with water ahead of time and mix in a larger bucket. Each scoop went into the skimmer and quickly went into solution with the pump running. 12 scoops came out to 1 pound of product. So far so good. I normally get a rash on my arms when handling D.E. but no rash with this product and it's better on the environment especially when you backwash and clean the filter elements. My only regret is not making the switch earlier. With 4 bags we're good for at least 12 filter changes or 4 years.

Zeo Fiber works well. Can't find any fault with the stuff.

Works fine water crystal clear and takes up much less space and lighter than DE

I've been using this product (or its equivalent by a local pool supply) for over 10 years and my pool is as crystal clear as when I used to use diatomaceous earth,This product works great as a direct diatomaceous earth replacement. I live in an area where we cannot put DE into the ground (french drain) nor backwash DE-leaden water into the drainage system. I used to have to fill drums with the DE slough and haul it to hazardous waste.This product works as advertised and my locale has no issues with me putting the material into my french drain as it is completely biodegradable.
