SKLZElite Inverted Baseball Hitting Tee

This was a gift for our 8 year old grandson. I'm very disappointed that the rubber piece that holds the ball in place has fallen off. I would like to return it as it's useless at this time. Not worth what we paid for it.

I’ve been researching back spin tees for a while. Mostly for my son since he’s starting his baseball career. The ones I’ve seen are usually north of 150 bucks. I purchased this one because it was on sale. I’m not a fan of the skillz brand, due to durability. Surprisingly this backspin tee is not bad. It’s solid, it has some weight to it, and it’s easy to adjust and use. Only concern is the rubber ball holder, I’m not sure how long it will last. We’ve had the tee for about a month. So far it’s held up my son’s abuse. I’ve taken hacks on it and it definitely works. Especially if you’re trying to work on hitting line drives up the middle or work on hitting the ball opposite field. It’s definitely a great tool to have to develop a good hitting approach. I have many training devices and for the price it’s a great addition.

I love the tee style itself. The ball holder will break. That in itself is not the issue. The issue is you can not get replacements any longer. I have been all over the internet with no luck. And from my search results it is a very common issue. Its a shame I believe this style is more effective than a straight post style. The kids definitely seemed to like this style better. If replacement parts were available it would be a 5 star from me.

Rubber Tee Top Broke After third use

Assembled it and went to the park with my 9yr olds. 10 swings in and the collar snapped. Garbage.
