Bit of a game changer
Have had this club now for 2 years and it has transformed my chipping around the green and escaping from sand traps near green, have had a better grip fitted, at a cost of about £10, and with that a club which already was very easy to hit from tight lies, bunkers and all grades of rough into a perfect solution for all those situations. If you have a chipping, bunker or rough escape club then it may well prove this is the club you are looking for.

Great club
Short shots over a bunker or out of it are good with this club. It has a good bit of weight in the head to help ease through sand or grass.

A bit heavier than a normal wedge and not as much feel but so far have got out of bunkers every time with it

Just what I needed.
Works better than 40 year old club I was using, more loft than usual sand wedge, so up and out higher.Has black in description, I assume they mean the handle.

Really dead feel
Bought this for bunkers as I already have a 58 degree wedge with low bounce for fairways, the mc Gregor has a very dead feel and compared to my other wedge requires much more effort/swing speed to achieve to achieve similar distance,I feel it does not integrate well into my existing set as constantly having to use different swing speeds for short game shots does not do much for consistany ! Therefore would not recommend !!

Perfect
This Is by far one of the best clubs I own! It's a little bit in the heavier side but other than that this is the perfect club for when you need to loft the ball up onto the green. It's looks cool too I always get asked what kind of club this is when I'm out.
