This cover and rack is great. It was delivered about a week sooner than I was told and was fairly easy to install but if I had to do it over again, I'd enlist the help of a buddy. Doing it all by myself wore me out. It took about 4-5 hours to install the cover and then another 4-5 hours to install the rack. I have to allow extra time when I'm out running errands just to talk to the people that want to know about the beautiful cover and rack on my truck. My only tiny complaint would be for the rack system to have more detailed instructions. It laid out all the parts and their place okay but I would have liked some suggested dimensions as to the positions of the supports and then suggested dimensions for the placement of the top rack on the supports. Other than that, I love it and am very proud of the purchase!

It has been on for about three weeks and so far I am happy with it.mileage: not sure yetracks: I haven't used or assembled them yetThere were several annoying issues during install, mostly stemming from the directions. That being said, it is half the price of the name brands and if I had a second pair of hands available they probably would have been negligible.1. The biggest issue is that the cover housing has two flanges that extend out to rest on the truck rails. For my pickup each side only gripped by approximately 1/4". While attaching the rails I bumped it several times and had to fight it back up, really gouging my spray in liner. The last time it happened I didn't notice and it required loosening the clamp bolts and finding another pair of hands so it could be re-centered properly. Sometime while doing those adjustments the 3M tape from the housing stuck to the foam waterproof strip and moved it out of place. I have to fix that now, somehow, as they are bonded together and out of place. With a second pair of hands I don't think any of this would have been an issue. It looks good now, and is more than likely fine, but I do off road a little and will probably add a storage container of some variety under the tonneau housing to help support the weight over rough roads.2. You must remove the protective housing around the locks before adding rails to the cover. I needed a T30 torx security bit to remove them, which was not included.3. The screws in bag 3 for the rail assembly were completely different than those in the instructions and used both lock washer and silicone washers. They did fit perfectly.4. My directions told me to assemble the "clamp-to-rail" T-bolts and slide them in, then add the clamps. Impossible with the clamps I received. Build the bolts in the clamp slot then loosen the clamp to install both simultaneously.5. What/where do I oil? It came with oil, no directions. I am guessing the slides but they were per-greased, so...not sure.All of those added together killed a large chunk of my day. It was simple, though, and I bet I could install another one in an hour with a second pair of hands.

Very well built, looks great, works great. Instructions were understandable but not super simple to follow, work slowly and carefully and you will be fine if you purchase this product

I watched a number YouTube reviews on retractable tonneau covers and settled on this model. The price of the ladder rack and retractable cover was excellent. I watched the Youtube installation video a number of times and was quite prepared when the units arrived. Both units arrived undamaged and all the items were well packaged. I laid out all the assembly components and nothing was missing. Installation was pretty much straightforward. I am quite amazed at the quality of the cover and ladder rack. Both items are well made. After a heavy rain pour over a number of days, I found no leaks in my truck bed. I am giving both items 5 stars and will repot back with an update in 2 months after a 3000 mile glamping trip in April and May.

Hard to beat this combo if you’ve priced any of the other name brand bed covers and racks.Directions and hardware are the reason for 4/5 stars.I am very happy with the looks and functionality thus far. Have yet to carry anything on the rack but it will get lots of use with my kayak later this year.I agree with the previous reviewers that the installation instructions are lackluster, and in my particular case the hardware count was incorrect. Needed flat washers based on the diagram, and all I had available were lock washers.I will say all of my hardware was painted black to match the rack which was nice.I was able to install both cover and rack by myself, but it was certainly a balancing act at times. Probably 3-4 hours total time.

Wanted to have more of a secure way of storing my gear for work. Installation was straight forward and easy for me. I would suggest to hand tighten the finish rings at the bar towers as one of them cracked when I was screwing it. Other than the cracked piece (pictured) the cover works great. Looks great. Now just time for some rack accessories and I’ll be good to go.

I was disappointed that they don't include rubber strips for the luggage rack rails. I complained and was promptly sent rubber strips for the rails. It's easy to open and close and seems to lock up very securely. Customer service was first rate. It also looks good on my white with black trim Silverado.
