Great light weight

I wore this every day backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail for just over 4 months. The sun protection was great, and its very comfortable. I also liked the face guard for when the sun was in my face, or if it was really chilly out to cover my nose.What I didn’t like was where the zippers were located. They would sit right under the hip belt of my backpack which would cause pain daily unless I shifted them out of the way by pulling on my shirt. Also the arms were just a little too short, so the thumb loops would be too tight on my hands.All this said, this was an awesome sun hoody for the price, and mine survived the whole trip with no holes but some sun fading which was to be expected.

Great protection.

This rash guard served its purpose well. Used it for a Hawaii trip where we were in the sun hiking, kayaking, swimming and snorkeling for at least 4 hours a day without getting any sunburn or even a tan which was greatly appreciated as I have fair skin and get burnt easily. Didn’t expect much initially as it is not tight fitting, not sure how it would do under water but it did just fine, in fact it was better this way as I wore it for hiking and still felt comfortably without being restricted or hot. Like the hood as well.

I'm really glad I purchased it. It was better than I expected: fits perfectly, good quality material, used it on a fishing trip and I just loved it.

The material is lightweight and comfortable on the skin. The problems are that the hood only covers 2/3 of my head. It does not have enough material to reach the forehead and the sleeves are slightly too short to use the thumb holes without pulling down on the rest of the shirt. Also, the seam for the thumb holes also appears to be sewn more toward the top of the hand instead of the side of the hand so the entire sleeve twists inward when thumbs are inserted in the thumb holes. The rest of the shirt fits nicely around the chest, shoulders and waist. It's also the perfect length for a medium. I have the zip up version of this hoodie and it fits perfectly and has great coverage on the head and the sleeves with thumb holes are ergonomically sewn to fit properly. I was hoping the pullover version of this fit the same. I've ordered two of these and had the same problem with both so I think it's by design.

As a flyfishing guide, this design and quality is perfect. Had to get another.

I live in BC Canada and do a lot of hiking, I just came back from a 30 km hike to the summit of Cypress 2085 m and this shirt held strong I have no sun burn at all, and super comfortablealso bought another one of these for work , I'm union ironworker and this shirt is also awesome for working 10s in the summer heat would recommend!
