Nice and bright with economy.
If you are fed up with buying led lamps that are hopelessly dim, compared with the old fashioned lights banished by the EC, don't worry help is at hand. These are fantastically bright and give out a lovely white light. Perfect for reading and in the kitchen. The only drawback is that they are not dimmable, so romantic encounters in the bedroom are out! Longevity remains to be seen, however they look well made and have plastic domes, so difficult to break.

I debated what power to get, and opted for the 60W equivalent. Well, they're way brighter than the 60W-equivalent CFL they're replacing. Having read a review or two commenting on some non functional ones, I popped them all in a light and every one worked. So they seem good quality in that all of mine worked, and they're bright.
