great book by great author

David Suzuki is a good lecturer. I had no idea he had put out stories, as well. This is a very useful book, a nice compilation. I like it.

This book only confirms what I already believe, that the white man is essentially a shallow minded fool, and that the wisdom of the native peoples is not a collection of quaint fairy stories.Excellent reading.Michael Reid.

With this book, David Suzuki takes us on a journey around the world and shares with us the intimate knowledge that idigenous tribes still have about the natural world they live in. Most of us live in cities and have all but lost our 'link' to the earth; this book makes me want to fight to get it back.

everyone should read this book

It is difficult to see how anyone couldn't benefit from the knowledge & history this book embodies. Bravo to the authors for a well crafted read.
