The media could not be loaded. Love this guitar. Believe me, I was not excited when I took it out of the box! It was lightweight and seemed cheap. However, it is poplar (very light wood) and a hardtail, which makes it much lighter than a Floyd Rose equipped guitar. The back of the neck was not very smooth, but after a few hours it actually started to get a smooth feel to it. After a couple months playing, it does have a slight gloss to it, which is a huge improvement in feel. Stock pickups were very cold and brittle, I replaced them with some cheap Saphue Alnico 2 (amazon) buckers and I am pleased with the warm tone now. This is my 6th (and lowest priced) electric guitar and I really enjoy playing it as much as my guitars that were nearly 3 times the price. The finish is beautiful. I have never had an amaranth fretboard, but it is nearly indistinguishable from a quality rosewood fretboard and feels fantastic!

I really wanted this to look like the one I saw at the guitar shop, but this is not the dark purple I wanted. This looks kinda pink-rosey, maybe magenta. The box came opened and retaped so I'm not real thrilled with this purchase.

Nice guitar. The action is high for me. That is the only thing I’ve adjusted so far. I always prefer doing my own setup anyway. Sounds and plays nice.
