Nell and the Circus of Dreams

What a joy this was to read to my two children aged 7 and 3 who were rapt throughout. It is a beautiful story with a nostalgic, dream-like quality. The words and the illustrations are equally enchanting. We had been to see Giffords circus last weekend and bought this book afterwards. It has extended the magic and sparked my children’s imaginations, what more could you want? I can’t recommend this book highly enough, nor the real life Giffords circus. So special.

We bought this after going to Giffords Circus with our daughter. She loved the circus and loves this book. The illustrations are beautiful.

It was an interesting book to read myself . I had bought it for a Christmas present and as an adult I enjoyed the graphics and the story line. Since giving the book out over Christmas I heard back it was a joy to read. The circus is based in the sme county as I live and that makes it personal to me.

When Nell discovers the circus has arrived near her home she experiences everything the circus can offer; wonderful characters, the magic of performance and sense of community. A perfect story for my little Nell.

Brilliant. Great story for anyone who likes the circus. Gorgeous illustrations. Lovely to read.

A beautifully illustrated picture book. Would make a lovely gift. I sought out some toy animals (e.g. dog and hen) to put with it .
