after getting used to it being on her muzzle, she walked perfectly without pulling, & there was a lot of slack in the leash

Good product
I use this product to controle my big golden. He’s 95 ponds and 10 years old. For most of his life we used a choke chain. While he was younger he responder better. As he’s gotten older I wanted to use more gentile approach. After about a week he didn’t seem to mind the new harness.

good but not for all dogs
While I purchased this for a small dog who has fear issues and had a tendency to run when scared, I found this to not work in this situation. I gave the head collar to a friend who had a little larger dog and as he was a puller it worked wonders for that particular animal. I do like the idea of using the head to lead as you would with a horse, one does have to be careful as you can injure an animal if this head collar was used with force - one does have to be gentle.
