Sennheiser MX 686G Sports Headphones

I love Sennheiser products. I have used different model over the last 5 or 6 years. I use them daily and generally happy with them. However, this pair are way different and has let me down given my expectations of this brand I have become accustomed to.

This is not a good product. I've only had mine a few months and already one of the ears doesn't have sound. Also these slide ride out of your ears if you're sweating, so these suck for working out.My apple ear buds work better.

There aren't that many models out there of earphones that are1. Not Bluetooth2. Are built with some sweat resistance and additional appendages to keep them inside during excercise3. Do not block outside soundsI had tried many others before finally risking it (should not have been the case, but the reviews kept me away) with the Sennheisers here.Very impressed. Sound quality is by far the best i have experienced in this class of earphones, including models at the GBP100+ price point. Bass depth is plain unexpected. Sure, its not the level, perhaps, you would get with dedicated, high fidelity phones, but for the type that does not have to be pushed all the way into your head - pretty sweet.Build quality is fine (i.e. up to the pretty high standard one would expect from Sennheiser) at the first glance, will see how it survives regular use.The form factor is slightly unusual. They are quite bulky with a large plastic body connecting the actual ear-phone to the wire which contains a soft extendable hook. My ears being quite large and reasonably sturdy - i love it. I found that i can insert the phones with the hook retracted and then extend them once in the ear which gives a very secure fit. However i do see how some people may find it uncomfortable - essentially it is a L to XXXL model if there is such a thing as ear sizes and those with smaller ears can find them an earful.Overall - very impressed with sound quality, quite pleased with the fit and no complaints about build quality.

Previous versions of these were nice, great sound quality and fit in my ears perfectly, so it goes beyond me why they would ruin this design.The sound quality is pretty meh, and they are the most uncomfortable things i have ever had in my ears, they're so chunky and hard, that my ears just ache after like 10 minutes.Get some different earphones because you'll regret these ones.

Left speaker just stopped working, no stress related accident to them. But when your stuck in Africa with nothing you get kinda threaders! Never again

not comfortable at all and have terrible bass. 20euro headphones have the same sound quality. They also have a lot of noise bleed. would not buy another pair. haven't broken yet so i guess thats a plus

For my ears (small) the ear canal did not fit well and the hooks at the top were quite useless. A bit disappointed as I thought investing in a brand would = quality and good fit

Love them. This is the 2nd time I purchased Sennheiser earphones. Highly recommended.

I brought these to use whilst running, as I have small ears I spent ages trying to find a design that might work. I was wrong to choose these ones! These have now been added to my pile of useless headphones that are too big. What a waste of money.

Great sound quality and great fit. After trying about 4 other pairs of in ear buds and then falling out and sound quality being trash these are glorious to wear and listen to

to large and a bit uncomfortable for long use, good voice quality, don't fall off, recommended to try them on your ears before you buy them. if they fit - you'll like them

Had these headphones for only 6 months and now they've stopped working. Earbuds also kept falling off and it was incredibly difficult to find replacement earbuds for this set of headphones.

Like most things these days, have lasted just long enough to be outside of the returns window and then broken.

An diesen Kopfhörern ist im Grunde alles super bis auf das entscheidendste: die Soundqualität.Die Verarbeitung wirkt solide und hochwertig, sie sitzen sicher im Ohr und verbleiben dort auch bei Bewegung.Das Mikrofon funktioniert gut und auch das ohne Probleme bei Wind und Wetter. Zudem verursacht das Kabel durch Bewegungen beim Sport keine Geräusche in den Kopfhörern.Wenn da nicht die schlechte Soundqualität wäre. Die Bässe kommen zwar etwas besser rüber als bei richtigen Billigkopfhörern aber selbst diese hören sich verwaschen an. Das schlimmste sind die Höhen. Eigentlich sollten gerade letztere bei hochwertigeren Kopfhörern durch Ausgewogenheit glänzen aber sie sind meist dermaßen verzerrt das Musikhören teilweise in den Ohren schmerzt. Besonders bei Punk oder Rock wo auch mal ein E-Gitarren-Solo einfließt ist es teilweise nicht mehr auszuhalten. Wer die Qualitätskontrolle bei diesen Kopfhörern durchgeführt hat, gehört gefeuert. Die Kopfhörer taugen nur zum hören von Hörbüchern alles andere macht kein Spaß. Selbst die billigen Kopfhörer welche bei Samsunggeräten mitgeliefert werden, machen da im Vergleich noch einen deutlich besseren Eindruck.+Verarbeitung+Sitz+Freisprecheinrichtung/Fernbedienung- - - SoundqualitätIch würde sie nicht wieder kaufen und habe hiermit ein Stück mein Vertrauen in Sennheizer als Hersteller von guten Kopfhörern verloren.

ich benutze die Kopfhörer mit dem iPod zusammen zum Laufen. Obwohl die Kopfhörer mit Knöpfen, zum lauter, leiser und pause versehen sind, funktioniert nur pause bei mir.Sobald man anfängt zu schwitzen ist der Halt im Ohr immer so la la, trotz Mütze.Der Ton ist m.M. nach durchschnittlich, obwohl ich nicht besonders Anspruchsvoll bin. Teilweise hatte ich 'Wackler' bei der Ton wiedergäbe. Meistens lies das Problem durch 'rumproeckeln' nach.Das Ohrstueck hat ein Feature, dass man die Halterung, im Ohr, verlängern kann, allerdings bedingt durch den Kabel ziehen sich die Ohrstuecke immer wieder nach unten, sodass die Verklemmung nicht so recht funktioniert. Alles in Allem würde ich das Artikel zurückgeben wenn ich's könnte aber ich befürchte es ist eine sogenannte "Hygeneartikel" vom Umtausch ausgeschlossen.Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich fairerweise nichts sagen, da ich die Hörer erst ca. 4 Wochen habe.
