Q: Is this threaded or can it just drop down? I am replacing older models with no threading

This housing body is threaded. But if you can unscrew the top, you may be able to swap the insides and reuse your old housing one. I've done this with a few of my own. Just make sure length and manufacturer are the same.

Q: The description states "8 Nozzle range: 0.75 to 50". Does this mean that the spray distance has 8 settings from .75 feet to 50 feet?

Pretty much. Comes with the red attachments for the tip to direct the spray.

Q: is this rotor 1/2 or 3/4 inch threads?
