Q: Does yours creak? Mine creaks when I loosen or tighten the legs.

Yes.it seems not to affect anything. Just the sound emitted when I tighten it. I have two other Siruis that make that creaking noise and no problem.

Q: Anyone use this with a gimbal head and a 60mm prime? Also, How low will it go? Can you remove the center post altogether>

I use it with a gimbal head and the Sigma 150-600 sports lens. I've tried few tripods and nothing had felt as steady as this one. My lense weight about 5 lbs and I shoot sports with it, so I need a strong but light tripod and the Sirui was just perfect. Highly recommended!
