GREAT for recovering VERY chapped lips@
I had previously bought a tube of this lip balm/ointment up @ Mayo Clinic while I was there in one of their shops. It worked WONDERFULLY!! So, when I ran out, I researched it (as I thought it was just a product exclusively sold @ The Mayo Clinic). So, I found it, bought this 3 pack @ a REALLY good price here on Amazon. And I used them ALL up!

product packaging was destroyed in transit. Product (since it was in tubes) was still OKIts intended used and described use is sunscreen on the lips and is excellent for that

I've been using this lip protection for over a year now. I feel very confident that my lips are protected from the sun and since using it I have not had chapped lips or sunburnt/windburn ones.

Hypoallergenic
I'm allergic to sunscreen, Vanicream is the only one I can use. It has no scent and is mild on my skin while providing protection from harmful rays.

Drying on my lips, leaves white cast
This is not an emollient lip balm. It is very drying on my lips, and after I use it, my lips are flaking and uncomfortable. It also leaves a very white cast, which does not go away. I wish I could return it, but I started using it after the return date, since I was using up other lip protectants. Would not recommend.
