Terrific
We do rescue work with horses and, recently, with goats. Goats in particular will pull down hay from a rack, stomp all over it, pee on it, and then, of course, refuse to eat it. At least 50% waste of hay is not something we can do. These slow feed hay nets are terrific for the goats and for the mini horses we have (the big horse gets the regular mounted feed bin). The waste has dropped significantly -- we waste less then 15% now, and our wallets are grateful. One other point is that these feed nets are relatively easy to fill. We have others which are wider openings and flimsier and they are hard to fill. These stand up a little better on their own and hold two or three flakes of hay at a time. The only problem we have seen is the drawstring breaking on two of them. The break is at the point where they have melted the two ends together. We re-string and tie them and that's that. They are still worth the five stars. Aside from that one point, they seem permanently sturdy and do stop the hay from being pulled out and simply dropped to the ground.

Drawstring needed replaced after 1 month
I purchased 3 of these bags several months ago and they have been fantastic. My only complaint is that the drawstrings has to be replaced after a month of daily use.I installed tie rings in each stall so they where not tied around a wood post or anything abrasive. The sting still frayed to the point one broke overnight. I replace them with a 3/8 inch “climbers” rope and it’s worked great ever since! All in all it was a great buy!

Alright hay bag
For the price point this is a nice hay bag. Holds a lot of hay. But I always replace the string at the top with paracord so its easier to knot/unknot. Bought several blue ones, color is good, they all seem to be the same size.

Holding up to my hangry draft
Wasn't expecting much out of this hay net because of price and how thin the netting is... My draft destroys everything in her path... however, it has lasted a few months with only a few spots that began to wear... but it's still holding up though. Holds a lot of hay for my chucky girl

Decent hay net
It’s your average hay net. Got this for my goats hay. It tightens at the top and opens pretty wide to put the hay in it. Very large too.

Update ***** WARNING
So far I’d like to say that I’m pretty pleased with this product! Somehow within the first couple days of using it, the drawstring that holds the bag came out of the top of it. It wasn’t too big of a pain to re-thread it, but I don’t think it’s how it was when it came. It does take quite a bit of finesse to hold it open, then wedge the flakes down inside (much easier with two people) but I’ve gotten the hang of it now.. Overall it seems pretty tough, but we’ll see how it holds up over a couple months! We’ve rigged it up to our liking and the girls seem rather frustrated at the extra effort they have to put forth. lol 😅 That being said, I have seen and notable difference in the amount they consume. I believe this is going to help cut back on considerable amount of alfalfa waste! Thanks 😊—— UPDATE——So I’ve used this for several months now and I have now changed my review to one star with a major WARNING for all those thinking of purchase this item. The bag and the holes on the bag flex to accommodate hay, and subsequently shrink up when all the hay is consumed… But with that, this feeder then acts like a Chinese finger trap for your animals. I’ve had two different goats that have had severe situations that could’ve caused A major injury or even death. The first situation, one of my goats got their head stuck through a hole while eating, and trying to get out, wound it tighter and tighter until she was choked standing still. Fortunately it was low enough that her hooves were on the ground and she was able to stay still until I checked on them in the morning. If it had been over a longer period of time, she would’ve been dead. The second situation was another one of my goats getting her leg caught in it and twisting it up so tightly That all she could do was trash and lay under it in an awkward position until I again came to find her in the morning. I am still nursing her injured leg back to health.I have since removed this item and will not be using it anymore. I highly recommend extreme caution while using this feeder, or better yet, do not buy it at all. Find something that’s a higher quality. Some thing that takes far less effort to load, and isn’t a danger to your animals!BUYER BEWARE

I bought 8! Minor modifications and winning.
I bought 8 of these so I can fill 4 and put them out for my 2 horses at various intervals around the yard. By having four I can take out four full ones and pick up the empty bags easily. they are eating slowly enough and cleaning up what falls on the ground. I replaced the thin drawstring with white bailing twine, and I just use simple Caribiner clips to hang. definitely worth the price. I saved the drawstrings to repair if my pony chews through!

Poor quality compared to older version
I bought this same Tough-1 hay net in 2018. I double checked the receipt, and it was labeled identically. The quality is way down. The new ones (I ordered 3, have opened 2) are very thin and lightweight, and already frayed in two places right out of the bag. They are advertised as 42" long. Stretched, one of the new ones is 30", the other a few inches longer. You guessed it, the older one is 42". The knots are loose and uneven in the new ones, the older net is tight and even. I knew when buying all the nets that Tough-1 is not a high end brand, however, I had been quite pleased with the one purchased in 2018, so went ahead with this purchase. I'm keeping them for $8.99 each as long as the 3rd one is not more damaged straight out of the package however, I do not recommend unless you have tiny animals. There are better options out there.

Strong and durable
Bought this for my dairy goats and I find it to be quite strong and durable so far. I had purchased one from the store and it was complete garbage. Will purchase another one of these.
