Buyer Beware if you need composite toe
I like these boots, but beware, They are not composite toe as advertised. I got a pair for work and after wearing for two months, I just discovered the are not safety toe. I thought I must have ordered the wrong boot. Work paid for the first pair, but with my mistake, I have to pay for the next pair. I just received my second pair and maid sure I ordered composite toe and my order says Composite toe. Second pair is not steel or composite either. Amazon needs to fix this.

Great boot
I am a 9.5 shoe usuall 10 boot and this is a good fit. I do have room to spare on toes but nothing that would make the boot uncomfortable and the heal is a bit tight so 9.5 would be a challenge to put on. Overall very comfortable

Saved my foot yesterday!
I had an axe come out of the side of a log yesterday, and since I was standing wrong because I was splitting wood in an inappropriate place, the blade got my boot. Pretty big gouge, but it did not go through the leather, and I did not need to go to the hospital, as I only have a bruise. As to the fit and all the other stuff: this is my first pair of slip-on boots, and they were uncomfortable for the first week or so. I was really worried that they would not ever loosen up, but they did eventually and now I am thankful I pushed through. Had I gone up a 1/2 size, I'm sure they'd be a sloppy fit now. They provide good support and the soles seem to wear nicely. I kick a shovel a LOT, and they show no damage or marks from the work.

Nice boots
Good quality that one would expect from Dan Post, just runs a little small compared to my Durangos.

Solid--Stylish Work Boot--Five Stars
Love these boots! The leather is excellent quality...the stitching is straight and true. And (once broken in) they're pretty comfortable. They are fully waterproof...my feet stayed dry even standing in several inches of water. And most importantly....they have held up spectacularly well under harsh work conditions for the first month of wear. (I'll update if that changes). For me the only issue was sizing. I wear a 10.5 in most shoes....and 11 in athletic shoes. I ordered the 10.5 ...it was definitely a size too big. Exchanged for the size 10, which is a decent fit....but now fully broken in...even the 10 is rather roomy. Since I'll be wearing multiple socks in these come winter...it's probably for the best.
