Pete the Popcorn 2: Popcorns Practicing Principles

This is a great book with a special lesson about being honest! It's presented in a fun and entertaining way for children of all ages. We all want our children to do the right thing but sometimes we forget to have those difficult conversations with them. This story provides that opportunity to have those conversations with our children about telling the truth, doing the right thing, and stealing. I also love how the police officer is portrayed in a positive way as many children are afraid of officers because of bad experiences. Overall, a fabulous book and money well spent!On a side note, I had the opportunity to meet authors, Nick and Joe, when they came to my children's elementary school. These two men go out of their way to introduce literature to children and present them with stories of values and morals! They have spent countless hours and money from their own pockets visiting schools for FREE and taking the time to answer questions from the children all while encouraging them to be the best person they can be! Not only do they write terrific children's books, but they also have a genuine care about people!

This is a must read! There is something in this book for everyone. It has bright adorable pictures for the little ones (seriously who ever thought a person shaped like popcorn could be so cute?!?), it has alliteration used throughout that will intrigue older readers and teach new vocabulary (profound, preoccupy, parcel, etc.), and it has a wonderful lesson about honesty and doing the right thing that everybody can learn from. I read this book, and all of these authors' books, with my own children and my third grade class. We all can't wait for the next one to come out!!

Pete the popcorn 2!! What a great read teaching children about honesty in ways they can relate to in their own young lives! We had been struggling with our 3 y/o son at such a young age starting to make up stories that were untrue and misguided. This book was a fabulous stepping stone and I'm proud to announce his lies and untruthful stories r now a thing of the past!! Must read & own!!!!

They have done it again! Pete and his friends are back! This is such a fun book and a wonderful lesson for everyone young and old! Teaching us that being honest is the right way to be, and very REWARDING just by being honest!!

My boys love all your books.. We had a family reading night at my sons school. Joe and Nick came and read to the kids :) they had a great time. We left with 4 new books that evening all were autographed. We had yummy cupcakes. My boys favorite one was cotton candy.

What a fabulous book and experience for my kindergartner. Author, Joseph Kelley did a book signing at my children's school what a delight. The book has a very meaningful and heartfelt storyline and keeps the kids attention. Thanks for helping to build my children's library with meaningful books that help them reflect on caring for others and what's truly important
