This zipper is a little bulkier than portrayed in the picture.

Under Product Description I found Made in USA, but the zipper was made in China. I understand the reasons of outsourcing, but when I am purchasing a product, I need to know the country of origin as it may directly correlate with quality and durability. In this particular case I wanted to be sure I get a good zipper for my daughter's winter coat. The original Chinese made zipper fell apart after one season and replacement is rather complicated and time consuming. For this reason I rate this product (service) with four stars. However, depending on how it will hold up, I reserve my right to change the rating.

Just what i was looking for. read all the reviews and agree with them that to have this zipper put in by some one was gonna cost $30 and so i bought this. Since i have a sewing machine (but only do basics of sewing like repair and straight stitch) i decided to give it a try. Quick and simple.Replaced a zipper in a jacket that had not worn out but the teeth on the zipper had. Recommend to anyone willing to do the work.

The zipper in my daughter's 2 month old parka totally quit working. I did some research first, and after reading the reviews on this one, purchased it. Zippers are always tricky, especially when removing an old one and putting a new one in, but not including the time taking out the old one, it took no time at all. It is a double zipper, so it can be opened at the bottom if needed. So grateful an expensive coat was saved from not being able to be used!

Although this is not what I really wanted (I misread the label) it's great quality, strong and sturdy. Not sure what I'm going to do with it now.

Great zipper for coat that hits at the hips. I needed to be able to loosen the bottom when sitting in the car.

I ordered this for the wife and she is pleased with it. I was a little disappointed at how long it took to be delivered but......................

I had someone put it on my jacket. It all seems to be doing good. Like that I can unzip the bottom some.
