A Little Bit of Christmas Magic
Yet more delightful Christmas novellas from Choc Lit and this time from my favourite romance authors. This is book 4 in the Rossetti timeslip series and revisits one of the earlier books. So is that timeslip within a timeslip?? I love it regardless of trying to work that one out. Myself and the other Kirsty have very similar tastes in our heroes so I absolutely loved Ned. I loved the idea of being able to go back in time to a special place and be a witness to past lives such as in this book but it does bring about some tricky thoughts. If you knew something bad was going to happen would you try and interfere? Like Ailsa I would probably find it really hard. Good job there's a hero on hand to make sure we behave :)Not being able to change the past makes for a bit of a bittersweet ending. Our main stars have their happy ending but no matter what we really can't change the past and in this instance that's quite sad. Confused? You will have to buy and read the series to find out more :)And I would highly recommend doing so. The Rossetti books were the first I read of Kirsty's and are probably still my favourite series of hers. Lovable, relatable characters and always a pleasure to slip back into these books just like going to visit old friends.

A beautiful story, beautifully told.
I didn't know what to expect when I bought this book, perhaps a traditionalghost story for Christmas maybe, so I was very pleasantly surprised tofind it revolved around a recent tale I had previously read ' Some veil didfall ' by the same author.I was totally enthralled by how the new characters were so cleverly broughttogether with my old favourites from the past, and as the developing love story continued I was in constant suspense wondering how it could possibly end .I thoroughly enjoyed this book, not only for the excellent andimaginative storyline but also because it was so well written.Kirsty, you have excelled yourself. ☺

Feel good Christmassy read
This is the first Kirsty ferry book I've read and it's a genre I wouldn't normally choose. I found the style a little twee but at its heart it was a feel good, easy to read, Christmassy story.

Absolute magic
Aisla works as a wedding planner in Carrick Hall and is going to be overseeing a wedding on Christmas day. On Christmas eve, with everything in place for the big day, Aisla goes into the drawing room for 10 minutes to unwind before going to bed. Here she meets Ned, whom she assumes is a wedding guest, and she feels an immediate connection with him. Little does she realise just how right she is & how far the connection goes back........but she soon will ! Brilliant story, well told & a great change from the usual choc lit.

It's the most wonderful time...
Christmas really is the most wonderful time of the year. Spent with family and close friends. Ailsa meets Ned on Christmas eve while she is preparing to work in Carrick hall on Christmas day. There is to be a wedding. Ned is a guest and he and Ailsa share a glass of wine and mull over the history if the old stately home. She goes to sleep reading the book about the home and her dreams lead to another altogether unimaginable place. Well worth the read and really put me in the mood for Christmas!

Fantastic Christmas Read
Oh what a lovely short story, it really warms the cockles of the heart! I would love to know more about the intertwined lives just hinted at. It ties in with the Rossetti series but could be read as a stand alone story too. It left me feeling quite emotional thinking of on going soul mates in life. Perfect Christmas reading for me, thank you Kirsty x

Enjoyed the scenery Ms Ferry evoked with her words. The love story was compelling and sad at the same time. Loved it.
