I used this cannister to store my epsom salt for my baths and I absolutely LOVE it! The salts don't get moisture in them from repeated exposure to a steamy environment. I imagine they would do the same for coffee grounds, sugar, flour, etc. 10/10 would recommend!

This is a versatile and very pretty ceramic storage jar. I ordered the black version, and it is heavy for its size, and feels durable. The glaze is sleek and glossy with no bare spots or cosmetic flaws. The bamboo lid is smooth and looks very nice. I had originally intended to use the container for tea, and it is good sized so it would have been perfect for that purpose, but it looks so nice I thought it would be wasted just sitting in my cupboard, so I ended up using it to stash my weighted eye pillows. I use the pillows frequently and I keep the jar on a bookshelf for easy access and this jar looks great with all of my books and other paraphernalia. The eye pillows are the type that are filled with flax seeds and lavender and the lid fits tightly enough to keep the fragrance fresh. It doesn't seem to be completely air-tight however. The current price of $15.19 seems reasonable for this well made ceramic jar.
