DarkWalker FO217W Wireless Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One

First of all i have to mention the price, as it is right now at the time of this review, the price for this bundle is £79.99, i have to say for this price alone i can't recommend this kit, it's good and i will go into more detail in my review, however i would only recommend it for half that price.Out of the box you get a usb dongle, half a keyboard, the mouse, charging cables. It's pretty simple and straight forward.This is a perfect combo to play on a console or android device, it's all wireless and does work well as long as the games support keyboard and mouse.The keyboard as you can see is only small, it's not a full qwerty keyboard, and you don't really need one for gaming, it has all the keys you could possibly need, these type of keyboards are common, thus why i can only recommend it's main use to be for gaming. I have to mention the price again, because at this price range i would expect a full sized keyboard and a more popular brand like Logitech. The keyboard does have rgb lights and they are quite nice, bright and colourful, you can turn it off which will help with the battery life, being a wireless keyboard battery life is also a concern, it takes around an hour to fully charge it and it can last for around 4 hours with the rgb on, which is impressive.For the mouse, it's a nice decent mouse, i've had another mouse exactly like it before so i know it's pretty cool, the lights are nice, you can chose to have them on or off and will affect the battery life too, there are side buttons and you can program these buttons as well if you install the software for it.Another important thing to note here, is that this set is pretty much plug and play, both on pc, mac and consoles, it's pretty easy to setup, all works well from the box.Overall, it's a good combo, not the best quality, but durable enough that it could take a bit of a beating and still be fine, it looks good with all the lights and does exactly what it says it will.Unfortunately i cannot recommend with it's current price, you are paying a premium cost for a not so premium product, i would suggest a retail value of £30-£40 at most.

Using the mouse/part keyboard with an FPS is fine - but nothing special. For a PC etc. you'd possibly not bother (and to be fair this is not marketed for PC usage) unless your main keyboard was pretty dire or you find too many keys a distraction and prefer something cut down (or perhaps to plug into a laptop setup). The keyboard "portion" of the deal feels less than premium and a bit flimsy - given the price being paid. The mouse is actually not bad - though a little OTT in terms of embellishments - then again less so than some contemporary gaming mice. The colour change mode is nice. I would say that the mouse is sufficiently accurate unless you're a crack FPS participant - you might then disagree.I confess I struggle with PS3/PS4 controllers in games as I'm 100% a keyboard (from PCs and Macs) user - so this caught my eye - having experimented unsuccessfully with a device for using mouse/keyboard with a PS3. For now I cannot review the PS4 functionality - I made a mistake as our PS4 is currently "abroad" - just two PS3s in the house and I misread the requirements. As soon as it's back - I will try it and update this review accordingly.In summary - good mouse, slightly under par keyboard (and actually I'd prefer a more complete keyboard) - and as a package it is pretty expensive.

I have never understood the appeal of wanting to use a keyboard and mouse with a console, let alone why Sony and Microsoft allow it. Not only does it put you at an unfair advantage (or disadvantage) against the majority of players using a controller, but the target audience is very niche as most people who want to game using a mouse and keyboard will opt for a gaming PC.On first impressions, the keyboard feels unbelievable cheap. It barely weighs 300 grams, it has no off button (when I unboxed it I saw a small led constantly flashing), and the keys themselves feel mushy like a badly designed membrane keyboard. The mouse looks interesting, but it has a load of unnecessary grooves and ridges that feel irritating to hold. It’s also an optical mouse so tracking will only work on certain surfaces.First, the Xbox Series X, the instructions are completely unclear and what I ended up with is the spacebar on the keyboard is the A button and that’s the only button that did anything. Exactly the same setup is used on the PS5, and to no surprise, it didn’t work either.The instructions tell you to pair the keyboard to the receiver by holding down the ESC and Q keys for 3 seconds and a light will start flashing, though this never happens even if you hold the keys down for longer. It requires you to plug in your controller into the USB Receiver, but what makes no sense is that you need to ensure your controller is off. Logically, the device seems to be piggy backing off the signal of the control and emulating its input, but switching the controller off does not make much sense.Overall, a product like this needs to be plug-in-and-play, seamless, or as easy as possible to setup with clear instructions. The manual is written so poorly and the instructions just don’t make any sense. Even if it did work, for the level of quality of the hardware you are not getting a good deal. I would not recommend this product and advise you stick to a controller for console, or just buy a gaming PC if you want to game with a mouse and keyboard.Thank you for reading my review, if you found it helpful feel free to let me know below.

its great but setting it up is just annoying

Me ha gustado mucho este conjunto de teclado y ratón, no solo el diseño, que está muy bien, si no que viene bastante detallado el teclado para usar con cualquier consola.Lo he estado usando más en Nintendo Switch y la compatibilidad como es normal, no va con todos los juegos de la consola, aunque creo que si con los principales, al menos con el Super Smash Bros. U. funciona muy bien.En PS4 también va estupendamente, la compatibilidad parece algo mejor y mayor, aunque claro, en muchas ocasiones casi que preferiríamos tener el teclado completo.El ratón tiene bastantes funciones, aunque como estoy acostumbrado a los de 8 botones, con solo 6 se me queda un poco corto, pero son más que suficientes claro. Varios modos DPI para ajustar el control y muy bien.Lo que más me gusta es poder cambiar el modo para activar/desactivar los LED del ratón, así cuando te canses ahorras batería.Usándolo en el PC, para cierto tipo de juegos concretos, va bien, aunque si por ejemplo quieres realizar capturas con alguna de las teclas, vas a tener que configurarla antes en el juego o Steam.En general, buena calidad, el diseño del ratón es muy buena, es cómodo y tiene automatismos de ahorro de energía, obviamente lo mejor de todo es la gran compatibilidad que tiene entre otros sistemas.¿Recomendado?✅ Si.

Arriver rapidement et bien protéger.Il s'agit d'un clavier et souris Bluetooth gamer de très bonne qualité, fonctionne sans soucis avec mon PC et mon PS4 Pro.Facile a connecté et utilisé, il suffit seulement de brancher la clé USB.Le clavier est solide et la lumière est discrètes.La souris est grande et stable.Bon rapport qualité / prix.Je recommande.

Se siete degli appassionati di videogiochi o gamer, questo accessorio fa davvero al caso vostro. Nel tempo libero, quando posso, amo passare un oretta davanti ad un buono video gioco. Che sia su pc o console. Ho sempre preferito un pochino di più il gaming sul pc.. non tanto per le alte prestazioni grafiche, ma più per una questione di giocabilità, la combo mouse e tastiera, su determinati giochi influenza molto l'esperienza. Ho anche le console però, una PS4 ed una One. Quando ho visto questo set di tastiera ad una mano e mouse, adattabile anche per le console, non ho resistito. Collegata immediatamente alla mia PS4.. e vai di FPS!!Il set arriva in una buona confezione all'interno troviamo la tastiera, un ottimo mouse, cavetteria completa e il ricevitore.. vi è anche un mouse pad ma sinceramente non lo cito, umica nota dolente.. ma non ne tengo conto in quanto utilizzo il mio professionale! Installare il tutto è quanto di più semplice, basta solo collegare il ricevitore alla presa usb, che sia luna console o pc e si installa autonomamente. Per le console, abbiamo sempre bisogno di avere il controller sotto mano, per dare l'ok ad alcune impostazioni. La PS4 lo ha riconosciuto subito.. provato con ben 3 titoli molto famosi. E via con il divertimento! Non è stato un semplice test, ma una sessione di gioco, superata a pieni voti. Tutti i comandi della tastiera sono programmabili tramite software! Il mouse ha un bel design, la tastiera è più sempliciotta, si poteva lavorare un po di più sui materiali.. ma comunque è robusta...non da pro gamer..ma se la cava bene! Per la fascia di prezzi non si puo pretendere di più! Soddisfatto!

Primarily the Function keys. They are offset by one position. Typically you would see the number [1] Key under the [F1} key. On this keyboard number [2] key is under the [F1] key and so on. While it is not a deal breaker, it does make it more difficult if you are used to a specific setup.This keyboard / mouse seem like a decent combo. They have good weight and seem durable. However, there are several issues that make it unusable.First, the instructions are entirely lacking. For the Xbox setup for example, it is a three bullet point instruction. While it is adequate, it is far from comprehensive.They offer no troubleshooting if something doesn’t work correctly.Second, the mouse is not reconfigurable with the Delta Key Remapping Tool.Third, the keyboard is not reconfigurable with the Delta Key Remapping Tool as the link in the manual does not exist. So I was not able to download it.Fourth, there is no mention in that this remapping tool is only compatible with Windows except in the manual AFTER you receive the product. So even IF you could download the app … will it run on a Mac … NOT.Fifth, all that aside I was able to get this installed on my Xbox One and I had high hopes. it worked for the first two screens. The sign in screen, the [A/X] key worked to login. Then the [A/X] key worked to enter the game I was wanting to join. But after that … nothing worked. Not the mouse … not the keyboard. I tested plugging the dongle into my PC and both worked fine .. so they functionally appear to be working. Just does not seem compatible with my Xbox which it is supposed to work for.Also you can ONLY use this product with a Microsoft Official Xbox One Standard Controller, which I have. This would also be another useful piece of advise that is only in the manual after you receive the product.The manufacturer offers a 2-Month Free Replacement and a 12-Month Warranty on this product per the manual. But if you go to the website to register, it says you have a 30-Day Free Return for any reason and 12-Month Free Replacement.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, this product did not work for me and I attempted to get it functional for a couple days to no avail. Worthless for my system.
