The Undead Day Sixteen (The Undead Series) Paperback – 12 Oct. 2018

Love to see this made into a TV series.Couldn't stop reading. Exciting story, Realistic characters, humour in a violent apocalyptic world too.

Loved the book. I discovered RR Haywood at the beginning of December and have listened to Day 1 to 14 with Audible (which were fantastic) and then swapped to books because the narrator changed and was rubbish. So glad I did. Loved the continuing storyline. Mr Howie and his cohorts continue to fight the undead and the living with plot twists that will have you crying and laughing along with them. Just waiting for Day 17 to arrive!

I've absolutely loved the undead series up to and including day 15, and waited with baited breath for the next instalment . Now that it's finally here it's a bit of a let down to be honest. I'm hoping the story arcs will eventually join up but at the moment it all felt a little disjointed. The scientist and the Albanian hit man chapters just seemed to take me away from the characters I wanted to read about, and if I'm honest it seemed to be for no discernible reason.Also as a fan of the zombie genre I feel that Mr Hammond is moving his zombies in a direction that is starting to get too far away from what a zombie is supposed to be. Driving an armoured vehicle, turning cars into two ton Molotov cocktails, even in a genre that is based on suspension of disbelief this just seems a little too unbelievable. Then there's the length of the book, this feels like day 16 part one rather than Day 16 and as one of the most expensive episodes yet I felt a little cheated to be honest.Don't get me wrong this is still Richard Haywood, this is still The Undead, and this is still Cookey, Blowers, Lani, Nick, Dave, & Howie et al and for that reason alone you simply have to get this book. I just hope the direction Mr Haywood is taking us in becomes slightly more apparent in future episodes and that the length of the books increases. I know Mr Haywood has been tied up recently sorting out a publishing deal for this series, I just hope that the series doesn't suffer as a result.Still, all in all a good addition to the series and frankly I'd read Mr Haywood's shopping list, he's an excellent writer and all of his books (mike Humber and the second reality books are his too) are an excellent read.

Absolutely gripping series . The story and characters drag you into a crazy roller coaster ride . Really looking forward to the next book.

Full disclosure, I adore this series & hope that a film or films are made for our viewing pleasure. This is a must read series, I'm already up to 24 & looking forward to reading the additional novels/novellas. Great characters & a gripping storyline, well written with the right level of humour & action, rightly earning this series thet title of best TEOTWAKI series ever.

This series of books is like a can of pringles once you pop you can't stop. It has absolutely everything in and not a single dull moment. Action packed as always, great characters and you can't help but get drawn in as if you was there in the story itself. Worth reading and once finished all the books you will be starting back from the beginning all over again as they are just that damn good!

I agree with another review a bit further down. The last bit of the book was amazing and gripping to read like the previous days. The rest I understand the story had to be told, but all I wanted after a couple of months of waiting the cliffhanger of day 15 was Howie and everyone else. Still brilliant though! You have a huge fan base and this is by far the best book in its genre! The only other book that's had my gripped like this was Harry Potter! Again I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment! Just to add I don't think you needed to reduce your price. Its such a small amount. You spend more for a loaf and a bottle of milk these days! Don't be too disheartened :)

I love this series, but I am left feeling disappointed and a bit cheated that the day has been split into two parts (if you are going to do this at least tell us it's Day sixteen part 1) Don't let this put you off purchasing as it is still a very good read but for personal preference I am happier with the full day format. As a whole though the Undead series is the best there is in the zombie genre and if you have not yet read any of these I would recommend you invest in the two week compilation, you will not be disappointed. I only gave this four stars because of the two part format but I give the entire series as a whole the full five stars fantastical addictive reading.

Definitely my all time favorite series - cannot get enough of it! A page turner that does not disappoint! Awesomeness

I can't even begin to explain how obsessed I am with this entire series. I'm almost done with Day Eighteen and it just keeps getting better. R. R. Haywood puts a complete new spin on the zombie genre, his story line I find fascinating so far. It definitely has not been done this way before & it's just awesome. I got the first book as a free download & at the time didn't have anything to read & thought, why not. Well from that book & on I was hooked. My husband can't wait for me to finally finish the series so that he can get his wife back! Hahaahaa! I highly recommend this series to anyone that loves this genre. I'd even recommend it to those that have never read a zombie book, actually, I never had..seen plenty of movies, but never found it interesting enough to read. The way Haywood constructs his characters is great as well, I feel as if I can picture what they'd look & sound like. You really get to love & know them, and if one is lost, you feel a little devastated. Everyone should seriously give this series a shot!!

Just read it. Very fun series with great characters. Going to next book now. If you like zombies read this series
