Well worth buying
When I read some of the previous reviews I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy this book - but am I glad I did! The editors have packed a lot in to this publication and it is well worth the money. Some of the previous reviewers commented on how small some of the font is - but it's readable, and again when you see how much is in the book you'll understand why. Also, as to the images they're fine. Considering the size of many of the works shown it's incredible the editors have managed to include such clear images. Well done. If I hadn't already bought it I'd buy the book again.

Brilliant addition to this great art series
Having bought other "Vitamin" books (on painting, drawing and ceramics), I was happy to see another one in the series: this time on artists who use textiles and threads in really varied and inventive ways. I recognised a few names already (e.g. Grayson Perry) but a lot of them were new to me - and they are from all around the world. As ever with these books, the design and materials of the book reflects the subject: it has real threads on the spine and a cover that looks like cloth with holes to show glimpses of artworks: really clever and fun. Great introductory essay too - giving lots of the history of the medium. Highly recommended.
