My son can play Kingdom Hearts 3 again!
I had my 4 year old help me install the drive. He happily did all the screws and I messed with all the cables.The new drive went in nice and easy, works perfectly and nice and quiet.Watching a YouTube video on disassembling a ps4 is very helpful for a first timer, especially when looking for your circuit board to make sure you order the correct drive.Thanks for a great product (and the cheapest one I could find).

Good replacement
Easy installation and great packaging. The drive can be a little finicky at times though. Nextec has made a good product.

Works great but make sure you buy the right one
This part helped me repair my old one as this one is for a different ps4 than the one I had. Before you buy it be sure to check what drive you have as even if the outer shell looks the same the insides may not be. Anyways i opened this bad boy up to see how everything was structured and i repaired my old one good as new.

Excellent product
Even though this was not new product, but it came as it was never used before and worked right a way. All what you need to do is switch the board from the old one to the new part in order for it to be recognized by the PS4 motherboard.

Got mine! Swapped out my old one and tried it and nothing. Didn't work at all 😞😞

Fast arrival time, works great, good response time when contacting with questions.
Product works as advertised and the included T8 torx driver is very nice to get out the tamper resistant torx bits on the PS4. When I contacted Nextec with a question related more to my console than the drive itself I still got a prompt reply offering help and suggestions. This drive arrived a day sooner than expected which was a plus as well. Would buy from Nextec again.
