it is a great light to have around

If we have a power outage, the battery decor lights will have a nice glow - for a while. This will be the workhorse at night. Europe’ energy situation is scary. This country’s getting in the habit of rolling outages. This will work perfectly with them, charge when we have juice, provide lots of light throughout the blackout.

Can't ask for a better lantern.

I communicated with the seller that there were numerous discrepancies in his or her description of this product as regards weight.Weight For this is exceptionally important, as the majority of weight should be in the lithiumBattery pack. I found in the original description listing two very different weightd, almost 1 pound apart.The seller less a very similar item, advertising similar milla-amp hours, but which is advertised as being 1/2 of the weight of this item. I do not understand how this is physically possible, and I questioned the seller regarding this. His or her response was simply that such was what he was told from the factory, or something along those lines.In my opinion, sellers have an affirmative responsibility to verify the performance which may be advertised from whichever manufacture from whom he or she is obtaining these products in China. The seller apparently disagrees.My opinion is that I do not recommend purchasing from this seller!

Really like the lantern, will use for emergency lighting.

It's not a bad looking lantern. Although it feels a little on the cheapish side. Not as high quality as it could be. But it's pretty well made and has a pretty good light. I personally would not call it blazin, some one is taking some liberties here, but puts out some good light.There is a metal piece that folds up. Not sure what they is for. I am guessing it is suppose to be a carrying handle. But it's curved to fold against the lamp, so feels a little weird as a handle. There is also a hook on the bottom that is near impossible to pull out with your finger unless you are a very small child. You'll need something like a screwdriver to pop it out. Also, the bottom hook really feels cheap and I don't have a lot of confidence that it will last.I do like that it can be used as a power bank. Actually a good feature for a portable lantern. There are "instructions:, if you can call it that, just a very small piece of paper with very limited information. Obviously a lantern is pretty easy to use, but would have been nice if they put more effort into some real instructions.Over all it is not bad. I think it is a little high priced being that it is not super quality. But if you are okay with the price, I would recommend.

I've been buying battery-operated LED lanterns for years now. I update every couple of years, as technology gets better. A few years ago, I remember thinking "this is pretty awesome--I doubt things will get better than this..."Well, they have. You can now get portable lanterns that offer unbelievable brightness and incredible run time.This is one. It comes with rechargeable Li-Ion batteries bult in that provide 12000 mAh of power. Combined with the efficiency of the state of the art COB type LED light inside, this gives you:10 hours at maximum (1500 lumens)20 hours at half maximum (750 lumens)40 hours at 1/4 maximum (380 lumens)80 hours at ~1/8 maximum (150 lumens)1500 lumens is enough to brighten a normal-sized room for reading.150 lumens is enough to light your way, and to allow those with young eyes to perhaps read for a while :-)To have 10 hours of extremely bright portable light in such a small package would have been unbelievable a few years ago.I imagine anyone who gets this lamp will be happy with the functionality.Now a few minor caveats:1) There's no indication of charge level on the lamp. It would have been nice to have an indicator of some type2) The button to turn the light on is easy to accidentally push. If you put this light into your luggage or into the back of your car, it could easily get turned on (and the battery depleted) without you knowing3) The hooks for hanging the light seem quite cheap, and I am not convinced they will last all that long.On the whole, this is a terrific light, but I hope they address (1)-(3) in the next iteration.

Lightweight and bright, this lantern puts out a lot of even, nice quality light at full power. It loses some light quality and even-ness at lower settings but still provides good usable light overall thanks to the three panels of 30 LEDs arranged every 120 degrees.The lantern has a wire top handle/hanger, and a fold out plastic hook on the bottom.Using the provided USB-A plug you can keep a phone topped off, but it doesn't charge at high speeds. The only thing I am knocking a star off for is the use of micro-USB for charging of the lantern, instead of USB-C.
