I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. This is a really enjoyable book and I didn’t want to put it down. Great, entertaining storyline and really engaging characters.

Sin is a designer who has had a tough life. After her father died her Mother didn't treat her well so Sin left and moved in with her best friend Jade. She goes from strength to strength after that. Until she needs money to get her new collection set up. She is tricked by someone she thought of as a friend into signing a contract for 7% of her business but was actually a loan that she can not pay off unless her collection is a success. This is a good story that finishes on a cliffhanger I cannot wait to read book 2. You will enjoy reading this book

I really enjoyed this story but I found some aspects confusing, the story too short and it ended on a cliffhanger so it wasn't a complete book. Hence the 4 star rating. For the first third of the book, I thought Jaxon was going to be the love interest which was misleading. I was also confused about how Core was going to use Sinthia to bring down his enemy - it wasn't clear how he planned to do this. Apart from these negatives, I found the story interesting and I will probably read the following books as I want to know what happens next. I don't mind too much that the story was short but I really do not like cliffhangers and if I had known in advance I wouldn't have read this book. However, because the story-line was different and it was well written I would recommend it especially if the author makes it clear in the description that it ends on a cliffhanger.

I liked the characters and the whole story am now going to read the next book in the series. I have also found a very good new author

I have already read several books by the author Sedona Venez and every time I think no other book can compare to the others I read, but she has surprised me again. The story of Sinthia and Kern keeps you glued to your pages from start to finish.I received an Advance Reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review

I originally received a free copy of this story in exchange for an honest review. I have since purchased a copy as well.Twisted Lies is a good quick read. It has a wonderful story line, great characters, and several juicy angles to maintain the reader's interest. Core and Sinthia are working hard to avoid the inevitable. Both are alpha characters and it will be really interesting to see which character will end up on top. The prologue led us to believe there is some sort of relationship between the two. However only a hint of something is revealed in this installment.Twisted Lies is a good intro to the series. We discover both Sin and Core's reasons for their alpha personalities, the events and actions that shaped their lives, and the depths of desperation which led to their unconventional business relationship. Twisted Lies seem to be foreplay for this series. Let the games begin!

I've read several books written by Sedona Venez; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.This is the first book in the Dirty Secrets Series; it is the beginning of a new series.
