The Essential Elvis Presley

My son is 18 and wanted a record player and vinyls for Christmas - imagine my delight that I could relive my childhood! There were quite significant delays due to Royal Mail but the seller was fab and communicated well offering options to rectify the issue. The item eventually arrived and although the box was damaged (not the sellers fault) the item looks great. Not used yet so can’t speak to its function but I don’t foresee any issues! Would use again and recommend.

Ich hatte mir vorher schon Essential Elvis Presley Vol. 2 gekauft gehabt, deshalb musste nun auch die Nummer 1 dieser Serie her.Auf dem Album gibt es ingesamt 27 Titel. Einige davon sind die Original-Aufnahmen, aber viele Songs sind als "unveröffentlichte Versionen" auf dem Album. Besonders finde ich es interessant, daß man teilweise die Studio-Unterhaltungen mitbekommt. Wie ein roter Faden durch das ganze Album zieht sich aber der Song "Loving You". Dieser Song ist gleich in 5 verschiedenen Versionen zu hören und jede Version ist irgendwie ganz anders. Für mich alleine hat sich schon der Kauf aufgrund dieses Songs gelohnt. Ein weiterer Ohrwurm-Song den ich nicht mehr aus meinem Kopf bekomme ist: "I want to be Free".Also ich bin froh, dieses Album jetzt in meiner Sammlung zu haben.

Ce coffret comporte la plus grande partie des tubes d'Elvis, qui ont été remastérisés pour la plupart. Bonne qualité de son.
