Beautiful and great quality

Put these in the boy’s chef harvest kitchen I set up for my grandson & happy with my choice.I chose wood over plastic or felt as I’m using a more Montersori approach with his learning toys. High quality wool felt pretend food is also tempting, but felt attracts dog & cat hair & is time consuming to clean😉He seems to enjoy the feel of the wooden fruits & veggies in his hand & the attractive & pretty realistic way they’re painted. He can point to the item when I ask him which is the orange, lemon...I like that they come in a nice handled wooden tray & that they add the desired food element I was looking for.He practices with them daily on his own & a lot of learning is packed in... Shapes, colors, matching, food naming & actual pretend cooking. Because they come apart, they fit into his tiny pots & pans. He’s made some interesting soups & stews with these!The velcro that attaches them works well. He currently prefers to attach & detach with his hands at this point. A safe wooden knife is included once he’s ready to begin cutting them. He does like to throw the rounder shapes occasionally & the paint is holding up well. They roll quite nicely lol!My grandson was 21 mos. when I placed them in his kitchen. They are large enough to be safe if he places them in his mouth which he sometimes does. The product description indicates the pants are nontoxic & I see no evidence of chipping or peeling paint. I inspect them after he’s played with them & they look as good as the day we received them.As a retired teacher, I’m very selective about what I purchase for him. These play wooden fruits & veggies meet my high standards. I highly recommend!

*I want to start by saying beware of the potato. *This is an awesome toy, especially if you are not wanting to sue plastic toys. Some reviews stated that the Velcro power was to much for their kid to be able to cut through. The Velcro is strong, but once my son (16months) figured it out it was easy for him. Regarding the potato, watch it like a hawk or take it away until your child stops putting stuff in their mouth. It is so small and very easy to chock on. I saw this on a previous comment and forgot about it until my son had it in his mouth, it is taken away until he is older.

These are made good, and I love that they have the wooden basket for the kids to put everything back.

She has been playing with these all year and loves them.The Velcro is strong enough to keep the fruits/veggies together, but loose enough for a baby to separate it.The paint has not faded and does not bleed (this is an issue we have had with some other wooden toys). Super happy with these :)

The fruit in this set is great; sturdy, the velcro holds the pieces together well, and the colors are bright and beautiful. The basket they came in however had a difficult handle to move and ultimately it broke when I tried to lay the handle down against the basket. That was disappointing, but my child still enjoys playing with the fruit.
