Great Nesting Dolls
Bought these dolls to teach my daughter about her heritage. She loves the surprise in each one and loves to show people how they work. They are also well-crafted, quite lovely and hold up to her constant use.

Stunning!
These are MUCH larger than I was expecting, but I love them! The largest one is 8 1/4 inches tall and 3 7/8 inches diameter at the base. .Exquisitely painted with wonderful detail on all the dolls. They are light for their size and the pieces fit easily, yet snuggly together. They are easy to take apart too so there will be no pinching of little fingers. It is the perfect set for my four year old granddaughter. I know she will treasure these for a lifetime.

This was the hit of Christmas for my 3 yo. The colors and detail were great. Only complaint is the second size doesn’t fit snuggly so the top and bottom come apart with gravity which is frustrating for a child.

STACKING DOLLS WERE GREAT FOR GIFTING CASH
Gorgeous stacking dolls! I wanted to give my granddaughter a 'cash' gift but in a creative way. I folded, then wrapped, a bill around each doll so as she opened doll after doll, her excitement would increase as her cash gift grew and grew. Hopefully she will enjoy owning the beautiful dolls too!

Beautiful but made in China
Although these Matryoshka Dolls were extremely beautiful - the painting was gorgeous - they smelled like paint and were not varnished. The bottoms were not finished off properly and were a little rough and the smaller dolls, although they were painted, were not sanded and they looked like they were put away wet. The paint looked like it could chip off. The MAIN REASON I sent them back...they were MADE IN CHINA not RUSSIA! There was a sticker on the packaging. The description made it sound like they were from Russia (What my Granddaughter is studying in school). I wasn't sure if the paint was safe.

Nice!
Very nice. We are using for explease of Russian toy for my tth graders report. It is well worth the price and painted very pretty. When he is done, I will turn it over to his sister to display in her room.
