I have a different mat that's 1-in thick and it's not enough to be comfortable when I'm on long trips and I'd like to take a little nap in the back of my SUV. This one is more narrow and perfect for my needs, it's thicker and very comfortable. I am 5'9 and 190 lb and had no trouble using this mat to sleep on during my trip. It inflates easily and like all self-inflating mats as a little work to put it back in its bag. I tightly roll it up while it's flat and close the valve, then I fold it in half and roll it up again putting my knee on it as I go so it doesn't accidentally unroll. When I get closer to the end I open the valve allowing the rest of the air to escape and I'm able to put the straps back on and slip it into the bag with no problem.

I am 6'3" and 360lbs. I am not small by any means. This mat holds my weight perfectly. It is more comfortable than my cot. And it weighs about 25lbs less. I am an assistant scoutmaster for a scout troop and we are getting into backpacking. I wanted something that would take the place of a cot and this is it.

This mat definitely provides comfort, but it is a little narrow if you are wider in stature. It is easy to inflate but it is wise to blow into it after the self-inflation process to get it nice and filled before you close the valve. I found the deflation process a little trickier. You need to be kneeling on it while deflating and rolling it up. I'm still never able to get it small enough to fit back into the pouch. Overall, my family and I are enjoying this mat. It does have many uses aside from camping. We use it while watching movies and set it up on the rug on the floor in front of the TV. We also have outdoor couches that aren't very comfortable and when we lay this across them, it provides some nice comfort.

It is a very simple mat that is easy to maneuver. I wouldn't use alone but with a sleeping bag or thick blanket it is perfect.

exactly what i needed! fits me perfectly(5'10) so i wouldn't recommend if you're over 6 feet tall :))

So I finally got to use this inflatable sleeping mat. Easy to inflate an added comfort to my sleeping bed. Got a good nights sleep!
