Good quality silicone straws. They had a bit of a smell when I first got them but the smell is gone now. The included brush works very well for cleaning the inside of the straws. It is necessary to scrubbed with a brush from both ends of the straw and to coat the brush with some dish soap before scrubbing. I am so glad that I got silicone straws, instead of stainless steel straws because I find that I like to bite the straw a bit to regulate the flow. It would be nice if they made a longer version of these that was about 2 inches longer. This would fit better in the large Liter size stainless steel Klean Kanteen that I like to use this with. The reason that I use this is to prevent lemon water that I drink in the morning from getting in contact with my teeth. This is to prevent gum and tooth sensitivity while still getting the alkalizing benefit of the lemon water.

These straws are long enough to fit a 30oz tumbler, and wide enough (almost 1/2" outside diameter) to get enough liquid without looking like you're drinking out of a cocktail straw. These are SOFT silicone, so they will fit through the regular drinking slot from the OEM lid of your tumbler. They bend, and can do so at a comfortable angle without collapsing, preventing you from sucking a layer of soft tissue off the roof of your mouth. The brush doesn't reach all the way through, so you really can't clean the bottom of the straw.See what I did there? I made it sound like I don't know that you can turn the straw around and clean it from both ends. Judge much? You should probably reflect on that, but do so while you're enjoying 30 ounces of well insulated beverage from your tumbler, held at a comfortable angle while you sip from your straw, all in a color to match your mood, or your car paint, or the holiday.

These straws are 10 3/4" long. I hoped they were slender diameter but they are BIG FAT straws. I was disappointed as I really want some skinny straws which are tall. HOWEVER, I realized they are the same thickness as the plastic tall TERVO brand straws which are NOT BPA free. These are silicone so they are BPA free. They are only slightly shorter (maybe 1/4 or 1/2 inch shorter than the Tervo plastic straws and they bend so they can still work in the Tall Tervo cups and stick out just enough to make it comfortably workable but can put it in the cup (I like to use the Tervo cup which has a lid on top and loop on the lid for carrying the cup)... so I can still bend the straw to fit down in there and then pop it up to drink out of it on the go. Perfect for that! The brush included is good quality with a comfortable finger grip. I recommend them for anyone who needs a fat smoothly straw or a BPA free Tervo straw replacement (slightly shorter). They won't fit spill proof Yeti type lids but they do fit Tervo cups and tumblers.

I love them! I was worried that I would find silicone straws floppy. I bought a few RTIC tumblers and when I saw a stainless steel straw option I thought that was an accident waiting to happen. I decided to try these straws and I love them. They fit snugly in the cup opening. They are wide enough that you can easily drink smoothies from them. They are soft and flexible, but not floppy.You do have to rinse them thoroughly or then seem to hold on to the the soapy taste, but they come with a brush and are easy to keep clean!

Way to big to fit in opening of RTIC lid.

Only 10" long, not 10.5" as stated in description. This was REALLY frustrating, as that half inch was critical for fitting the cup I needed them for. Aside from that, the straws were fine. Wider than standard, would be good for thick shakes and smoothies. They do fine in the dishwasher but, as with all reusable straws, I recommend cleaning thoroughly with straw brush and soap first, and use the dishwasher for sanitizing.Would have gotten four stars with correct description and that crucial (for me) half an inch.

These straws are massive! Super jumbo sized! If you have one of the small openings just big enough for a regular straw, then these are not the straws for you. If you have a huge opening for your cup, or have an open top, then these will work!
